  • amazing kittehs ,i so would like to live with one,as ive seen they would make an ok pet

  • beautiful!

  • kings are very rare so i hear

  • Cheetah's are know to be very docile for big cats. They're not very aggressive. They've been pets to Pharaoh and queens for centuries

  • @ansemkurt

indeed, the biggest problem is that unlike a small cat, when they get grouchy, they will leave deep wounds instead of just small scratches like a regular house cat would.

  • the one that was eating is not pure cheetah...

cheetah is the best land animal

  • What is this with people having the need to capture animals and showing them off to other humans for watching and petting them. Its like walking into a restaurant and then petting someone while theyre eating a cheeseburger. Give the animals some respect people and dont think of them as toys.

  • Where did you have your encounter? I might have to buy my own there!

  • Okay, for all you animal "experts" out there freaking out about me patting Nova while he eats, feeding him was a deliberate move by his keeper to calm him during my session as it was a windy day, and the wind can make the cats skittish. Nova was purring the whole time I patted him, as a matter of fact, so you'll excuse me for trusting Nova's lifelong keeper over a bunch of YouTube geniuses :)

  • @sorscha Can I have him?

  • Never bother aminals while they eat!!!

  • raw meat? too lazy to cook eh? How would u feel if u were fed raw meat.

  • @HollywoodKendrick They get sick if fed only cooked meat.

  • @HollywoodKendrick I dont think cheetahs cook meat in the wild, therefore feeding them raw meat is exactly what they will eat in the wild.

  • It's not the best idea to be petting a cheetah while it eats ... though it is a beautiful and calm looking cat ^^

  • how much did it cost to pet them?

  • is it really a smart idea to pet this cheetah while he is feeding.... lol

  • I miss Jama so much.... he passed away last year and I wish I could get him back. You are lucky to have met him.... he was amazing!

  • King Cheetahs are not a separate species. They are a genetic mutation kind of like white Tigers. So you never know when this mutation may pop up. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Cheetahs have got to be my absolute favorite of all the large cats.

  • dont put it on wild specially in masai mara....

better to keep it in your house....

Namibia is the Cheetah capital ....the cheetah population of this country is increasing....

sorscha dont ever back king cheetah in to the wild specially in masai mara....

its hard to hide from predators coz of his unique mark....

more power to you and your king cheetah

  • Actually, studies have shown that if all cheetahs had the king markings, cheetahs would have a better change of survival. The king cheetah pattern is a better camo than a normal spotted cheetah.

  • What studies? Where? Who did them? There are five sub-species of cheetah and the King is not one of them. The King cheetah is like any other cheetah. If all cheetah were like King Cheetah then cheetah in general would be extinct altogether as mankind would make sure of it. They killed thousands of cheetah in the 1990's. The more unusual the coat the more humans seek it out, poaching and illegal trade would have exploded, add that to hunting, poisoning, and killing them as vermin and that's it.

  • De'Wildt Cheetah Fund. I never said they were a sub-species. I know they are a cheetah in every way. But the thing is, people would be so used to the king's pattern, they would not hunt them as much.

  • Hunting is not really the primary issue with the Cheetah. The numbers have crashed since the early 1900's and the main reason is human impact in general. Yes, some hunting and of course, canned hunts, but poaching, poisoning, shooting them as vermin in the late 1990's, have all contributed but loss of habitat is the fundamental issue. Whether King Cheetah or not, humans are impacting a wide variety of species. Due primarily to humans we are in the mist of a massive extinction process right now.

  • why no king cheethas in kenya masia mara best place for cheethas

  • It's hard for regular cheetahs to survive, particularly in reserves. The king cheetah's unique markings makes it more difficult to hide from other predators.

  • you look like you loved the Cheetah encounter

    :) -barry

  • I did! I'll never forget it :)

  • Most beautiful and majestic of all the great wild cats, love em. I wish I could experience what this lady is doing in the vid.

  • Beautiful Cheetahs. Save all the cheetahs.

  • yes save the cheetahs!! >:(
