I still have my Sirius but when I tune in to Stern, it's usually some dull interview with a celebrity I don't really care about. Lars Ulrich was on today, for example (save me your tears, Metallica fans). Now I mostly look up old shows on YT, mostly with the young Stern, or when they're insulting Fred and Gary, and (best of all) Billy freaking West.
Sometimes you don't know which celebrity to believe when there are contradicting stories. But there is know lying in Kevin Smith. You listen to this guy and you can tell he means what he says. Kevin is butthurt. C list celebs go on shows nobody is listening to like O&A and Imus when their career is basically over. I like some of K.Smith's movies... but he really needs to man up, stop being so sensitive and stop acting like he has a vagina. Oh and the reason Stern is successful and does great interviews is because he doesn't let guests ramble on with 15 minute stories boring everyone to death.

Maybe i was wrong with dishing it out so much but i noticed he's very sensitive when he is being criticized and he can be very brutal to someone who gets on his bad side. Stern is the same way in that sense. Just my opinion from observing them over the years. Smith talks a lot of shit with all his blogging. And Stern talks a lot of shit on his radio show.

As far as other actors coming with similar stories, each case is a case. Kevin grow up listening and idolizing Stern blasting people, but when slightest non flattering thing was said about him he acted all butthurt. Hypocritical if you ask me.

@punksickjordan basically he was the first "shock jock" radio star in the country back in the mid 80s-2005ish. he had a morning show in boston nyc and philly that spread across the country. he got really good ratings but usually got in trouble for things. he moved to satellite radio in 05 and was signed for like $500 million dollars. but hes a douche bag to a lot of ppl. lately hes gotten worse and thinks every1s ripping him off, copying him or wants 2 be like him. hes a tall skinny jewish guy

Radio shows exist for the GUEST to tell and explain or promote ideals based on a new book they have, or a movie, or whatever they are promoting. Not to sit there and insult the guest for an hour and then say bye! Kevin is a brilliant guy and has better things to do than get trampled by Stern who can't get over him self.

I still have my Sirius but when I tune in to Stern, it's usually some dull interview with a celebrity I don't really care about. Lars Ulrich was on today, for example (save me your tears, Metallica fans). Now I mostly look up old shows on YT, mostly with the young Stern, or when they're insulting Fred and Gary, and (best of all) Billy freaking West.

Even if you're not a fan, that statement is not accurate. Stern has always had and still does have the ability to get people to talk about things they generally never would. He's ONE OF (a rather short list) the best interviewers in the history of broadcasting. You don't have to like him to accept the things he's done. He single handedly liberated the airwaves, and changed an entire country.
