we really don't know who is right and wrong. There's propaganda on both sides, and as the public we should just accept we don't always have enough facts to make an informed decision. Let an unbiased and fair mediator and regulator have a look at what's reasonable and force a decision. BA should do what it needs to survive and compete, but if walsh is union smashing then he, and others like him, needs to find out the limitations of their power.

Sorry but striking will inevitably mean more financial losses and eventually more redundancies - Hope that those out on strike go first -Well done to those that have kept going so many people out of work all over the world at the moment so not much sympathy.

Rubbish,T5 was a ghost town today & yesterday. If it wasn't then why didn't they allow the media to film inside? When the papers do get a photo they take it of arrivals.All positive comments are from BA, it's just propaganda. BA has sold the media a bucket of Bull and they have gobbled it up. If the media investigated the situation thoroughly they would discover the real facts.I laugh when I hear the media reporting that BA crew is on 54 grand a yr, When their basic wage is exactly that, BASIC!

I would like to have heard more about how he is going to solve the dispute!

Or does he plan on flying the planes himself?

He cannot rely on competitors flying BAs customers indefinately.

I just hope I don't hear in a few years that BA is making billions (like we usually do when the now managing director has had his bonus and run after cutting everyone elses pay and conditions of work)!

Remember these managers have performance bonuses in their contracts!
