I can only beat Goro with Scorpion. What i did was spear him at the start of the round, uppercut him, take a step back, jump foward and kick. Once i did that i repeated right away(dont let him get back up in time to block). The funny thing about this game is that the sub-boss is a more memorable and more challenging fight then the actual boss.

I hate goro so much, after losing about 100 times in mk one I switched to mk9 and fucked him up over and over agian to vent my rage.

Man. When I first played MK back in the early 90s, Goro was sooo damn scary. Kintaro from MK2 was even worse. I'm so desensitized now.

you think goro is hard try beating shang stung and getting a flawless i did it once but i used liu kangs flying kick over and over its pretty much only way to beat anyone with liu kang at higher lvls....... BTW How the hell do you do animalities

@miscellaneousanus I like doing it with Scorpion though I can do it with everybody. Goro isn't that bad you just have to have quick reflexes and not get too close.

@rainbowrabbit Sub-zero is the only character that I beat him with. Basically the strategy though is never stand close to him. Try to get a health lead and then use jump kicks and projectiles.

@ClevverGames well i beat him by freezin him whenever he fell down cause since he cant jump or duck, when he stands up

shoot the freeze ray and he will be AUTOMATICALLY frozen when he tries to stand up
