The first shea butter I got (bought it on ebay.The shea came from a company)look like the shea at 2:24 and I love that butter.The one I have now is brown( I got it from another seller on ebay and the person said it is unrefined) ,it smells burn,and I don't like how it feels.I almost hated shea because of the one I have now.

@DJCelestio If you stop using all chemical products on your face and skin, you will see the difference. I use the organic face wash,face scrus once a week, and restorative oil from rose mountain herbs. In the shower I use african black soap and use raw shea when I get out. Going organic has saved me a ton of money, since I only have to use a little. Have been using since 05. I will never switch to anything else.

i had the same question and my nigerian friend grandmother makes shea butter and she said as shea butter gets older it becomes more yellowish less effective

Well I'm glad I decided to order it online instead of from the BSS. In the BSS it is a very bright yellow. The place I get it online, it's a very pale yellow/almost tan color.

I have problems with dark marks on my face after some breakouts. i have heard about all the benefits of shea butter, but i have limited it's use to my hair only because i was scared to use it on my oily skin because it is oily as well. i agree vestaluv, i've tried lots of hair moisterizers and this is the best i will never need to use anything else, i just whip mine with a little coconut oil to make it creamy (about 2 tbsps), and i LOVE it...

I don't feel that shea butter helps to heal blemishes...I've been using it all over my body...and while I find it does moisturize well...my blemishes still remain the same and dark spots don't tend to disappear

great video indeed! I luv shea butter as well! The cold weather in london is playing havoc on my skin, but shea butter just sorts it out instantly! My hair just stays moisturised for days when i use it. I love how u can use it from head to toe on almost ANYWHERE on your body, which is much better than having multiple chemical-laden products for different parts of your body! Its time we wise up to this rampant consumerism in 2day's society and go back to basics, which is much healthier 4 us!

This video was great!!! I love shea butter as well. I bought my first jar from Togo and it is simply amazing! Aloe vera gel and vegetable glycerin restored my hair from a lot of damage, but it was still lacking something, it wouldn't retain moisture for very long. Well I've found out that shea butter was exactly what I needed! Take care and thanks.
