just to clarify, vada's mom didnt die before she was born, she died two days after vada was born. complications during chidbirth. sorry, im being pernickety, and ive watched this film too many times for it to be healthy, lol!

I love that song too!It's just called 'My Girl' and I'm not 100% sure but I think the Original version was performed by The Temptations. But there have been a few singers who have done their own takes.
