  • I'm confused as to the difference between a decrease and a K2TOG. They look like the same thing.

  • @briteangel8907 A k2tog IS a decrease. But, there are several types of decreases and this is just one type.

  • I ordered to *very* recommended knitting books..one for patterns for guys and then another for various flowers, plants, etc. I opened them and it was like reading Chinese to me! With your videos I'm actually knitting from the patterns and actually able to use my books! I can't thank you enough! Keep up the great work!

  • great thx u so much :)

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you. This helps tremendously. trying to learn from a book is futile... This has saved me many a migrane.

  • Is there a big difference between K2Tog and SSK?

  • @Treefox These decreases lean in different directions, that is the difference between them.

  • Thank you so much for your tutorials. I'm just learning how to read knitting patterns and I was about to give up because I couldn't figure out what most abreviations were, but thanks to your videos I can keep trying.

  • that's so simple, thanks! am reading my first pattern and my head hurts, so this helps see the words in action! thank u

  • thank you thank you thank you!!! Your videos are the best!

  • your the best =) subscribing for sure

  • Thank-you - all my little girl wanted for Christmas was to learn how to knit. Her Aunt & Grandma got us going & we refer to your videos to learn new stitches. Happy Knitting! :)

  • Thank you!

  • Great visuals, nice and clear, great verbal instruction/description. I really appreciate that you also included a "this is what it will look like", at the end!

  • This was the most helpful video I have seen for knitting. Well spoken, wonderful example after showing the stitch, crystal clear footage, and the color of the yarn was easy to see. This was just great for a beginner like me.

  • very helpful, thank you so much!!

  • Knit Witch, you are a most valued resource in my world. Thank you so very much. You make my life SO much easier!

    Admirably,

    Alee

  • Showing the finished product helped tremendously! Thanks for the visual.

  • thank you 4 taking time to teach us, bought dvds and still had a hard time this is so much easier and clearer.

  • fantastic videos!

  • Your tutorials are so helpful! Thank you for posting :)

  • Thank you, brilliant :-D

  • Thank you, knitwitch!

I like your use of a 'bland' blue background - that way we can see the yarn, as it is against a contrasting (background) color.

  • Yay ^_^ Thank you!

  • Clear, concise; everything you'd expect from a good teaching video. I would've liked to have learned about the other slanting decrease in the same video and gone without the bland blue background. Otherwise, great video =)
