you know, I'm not sure. But I think normal wind puts much more force on the entire building than one plane ever would while colliding. Also, the buildings absorb the entire force of wind, while a plane, (which takes up an extremely small surface compared to wind) simply pierces through the wall, resulting in even less force put on the building.

And I strongly doubt they would build a weak structure that collapses from a few pillar failures on the upper levels. It's not a card house.
