To be fair - many in our city are self employed and can't afford to buy their own insurance - they have real jobs.

The entertainment industry is at times seasonal and in the last two years has been hit hard by the recession and two labor disputes that slowed production and cost the state 3 bil or thereabouts. And in this market - getting any job is difficult enough.
