I suck at describing such things, but I can point you in the right direction. Look up Roman Cancel and False Roman Cancel on a tips site, like Gamegaqs. RC and FRC are the circle things that allow for a combo to continue. I personally don't like using RC and FRC because they use up the tension gauge.

The 'blue circles' are FRCs. You can only use these during a select number of frames on select attacks. If you want to be serious in the game, you learn them and perfect them

To date, I've only seen one person use Venom in serious matches. It's amazing when Venom can use his setups, much more impressive than any other character.

Too bad Venom is like one of the hardest characters to learn, but he has insane setups and guard building junk to put out a lot of damage. I like the different things he added after using the super (forgot name).

He does training mode that the opponent is in permanent block, its not that easy to beat down an enemy who blocks all fight long.
