Irina Kazakova contortion preformance

whoever choreographed that must have done it as a cruel joke... the lighting is bad, her movements are bad and its annoying that her feet are bare yet her hands are covered, I find myself staring at her white glaring feet as she unskillfully dances around. If I had to pay for this show I would have pointed and laughed to at least get my moneys worth.

her costume and her movements look absolutely ridiculous!!! she could appear in a freak show.

by the way, I read on rhythmic gymnastics forums that Irina Kazakova is a BAD rhythmic gymnast because she practises only her flexibility elements instead of improving the apparatuses handling and the leaps.

She is! Why do you think she's a contortionist? Many gymnasts that are not good enough for the national team become contortionists instead. Same with Nadya Vasina, never made the national team and is a contortionist now, just like Irina.

Well she's training flexibility because she's a contortionist.

Contortionists only focus on flexibility because this is what contortioning/bending/twisting is about.
