  • Oh, my gosh, That was inspriring! I've accompanied fiddlers on the guitar on this tune, but had never learned it on the fiddle. As a beginning banjo player, mmmmmmaybe I can do it, but I don't think I could manage it with a parrot on my arm at the same time! Thanks so much for you post.

  • @dulcimerginny Thank you. I played this in a fingerpicking style on guitar and one day it just found its way out onto the banjo. Funny how things like that happen. :D Banish Misfortune (the album by Dalgish and Larsen) and the tune (which I learned from listening to their title track) is one of my favorites.
