Your intonation and timing is spot on but, it's ROMANTIC music - it should be played with great emotion. Pull it around, shape the music with YOUR personality.
As other people have mentioned, you have a tight vibrato. My teacher says that a varied vibrato is very important. Loosen up! Put some passion and emotion into a wide, rubatoed vibrato, it'll make all the difference.
My only other peeve is your usage of the harmonic at 3:06. Make all your notes beautiful with some vibrato and expression!

i love the kol nidrei!... I'm not jew but i think that this is one of the most beautiful pieces i've ever heard! You guys play really amazing!... keep going!... Congratulations!.... i play the viola and i'll play this music soon! =)
Just to let you know, I am a fan of your cellojourney videos--I love them!
I've even emailed you before.
:)
I think your vibrato could've been a less shakey and more full and slow. It was nice, nicer than it usually sounds on slow pieces, but it still could've been slower and fuller.
It makes sense to split it into the two parts...Kol Nidrei is a LONG song...haha. It's very passionate and full of emotion, and this is a good performance of it. Keep up the good work, from a fellow cellist!
Wow ! Very beautiful ! I'm french, and I doesn't speak English very good, I've writte in french :
C'est splendide, que d'émotion ! Je suis moins même un jeune violoncelliste, j'ai 15 ans et je joue depuis 8 ans et je prépare ce morceau, Kol Nidrei pour une audition. Je suis fan de votre musique, cela fait longtemps que je connais votre site Cello Journey ! Voilà, merci, thanks, pour cette si belle musique, je rêve de jouer un jour aussi bien que vous...
A really wonderful rendition. Many congratulations and thanks for posting the video. Do you play the slow movement from Rachmaninov's Sonata for Cello and Piano in G Minor? Equally beautiful I think !
very nice

Love, love, love this piece...I agree with what others have said about the vibrato being a bit too shaky, but it's still so beautiful.

A wonderful performance yet again, however!
