I love his voice...the first time I saw him singing (in a video) was a little perturbing, but as I heard more songs I liked more and more... and now I'm in love with his amazing, pure, hypnotizing and angelical voice.

I think I the object of the protagonist's 'affection' in this cantata had a lucky escape ... I saw Scholl perform this in Edinburgh. Quite something! You really got a sense of the poor guys frustration and worsening state of mind throughout the piece.

what the amazing thing about Andreas is that he is a natural BARITONE singer... I have heard that they make the best conter-tenors!!!!! Saw him live last year and I believe he coming back to Australia in 2008 and will be performing with the MSO!!!! CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!!

Although I love Philippe Jaroussky best, Scholl amazes me... his voice is different (more like Alfred Deller I think) and he has that silvery timbre I simply adore in countertenors :)
