i remember using the a10 on this mission and using up all my missiles and special missiles then when the enemy a10's came i was out of missiles so i had to use my guns and i beat with 10 seconds on the clock

It is a reference fo Normandy. The whole plot of this game was based on WWII if you really think about it. The first mission was based on the Battle for Britain and the desert mission was based on the Battle of Sealow Heights. The story teller's country surrendering without a fight is based on the surrender of France.

@Redfox161616 Many of our soliders are dead, because they hadn't receive their equipment (however, the stocks of weapons existing, they are just never reached to the front because the logistics had never received the order to deploy -it was confirmed by the grandfather of a friend, a colonel in the French Foreign Legion or "La Légion Etrangère"-).

Many units were destroy : that's a fact. Many of them tried to escape to Great Britain, and, low retail detail, the English fired on the French soldiers who tried to climb on board ship or landed further along the French Riviera. It's an explication for the "capture" of French Soldiers.

What remained of the forces on the territory were forced to surrender (that didn't stop the fighting in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon when Americans were tempted by the strength to take our piece of land or to prevent parts of the French navy to destroy their fleet so that it does not fall in the hands of the Nazis).

Yeah, Baelz dies when the A-10s attack at the end of the mission. After the attack, HQ asks if the ground leader had a message for the pilots, and after a long pause, another voice comes on the radio and says "This is Sergeant Collins, I've taken over command of Unit B..."

Actually the landing mission in 6 was pretty decent, even though it would've been better at night or in bad weater. 5's was just so ridiculous boring, because there were not many enemies and you sometimes flew around, doing nothing, while waiting for the next bunker to 'activate'
