wow, just came across by accident!, for some reason decided to play it, the Bass is amazing, at last some decent sounding Bass coming out my speakers, only had the volume on low and everything on my desk was rattling!. Yeh I miss that sound, reminds me of back in the dayz, when I was young. @tullshib I know that sounds like the case but if you ever messed around withan 808 you'd notice that the real thing actually sounds better than samples. With analog equiment there are small variations in the sounds. Each snare or bass hit may sound slightly different than any of the others. Sounds can be shaped & changed in ways that are very hard to capture with samples. There are variations among different machines as well.

The only thing I found that comes close to the sound of the original (sample wise) is the sound card for Roland's R-8M (another fine machine). Had an 808 but the limitations of sequencing... well, cute, noisy, but limited.
