the engine actually does 3000 hp but 2000 hp is lost in generated heat.

when they first tested the engine they put the pedal to the metal and the engine almost melted.

it was glowing bright red.

@killlerr1 Are you sure it isn't all the moving parts required to move the tires that dims down the horsepower? You can get a 60 Horsepower engine to glow red , all of 'Em do at racing RPMS.

if you understood the engineering that went into this car then you would realize that $1.5 million is a fair price for this engineering... and this performance... and the luxury and quality and sustainability. this car is designed to go balls-out for years and years without deteriorating.

with the stresses -- g forces, heat, torque, vibration --- it undergoes when being pushed, it's absolutely amazing it doesn't just fall apart.
