  • Its a clean hit all this shit saying he left is feet dosent matter because they called him for elbowing?

  • @taegelbagel92 interference

  • we should just play flag hockey from now on

  • Havlet needs to keep his head up

  • he left his feet that alone makes it not a clean hit, it wasn't a hit though

  • @grungermike One foot was off the ice when he made the hit. And yes, it was a hit.

  • Perfectly clean hit. Anyone thinking this is a dirty hit is a brainless dumbass.

  • YEAH... KRONWALLED BITCH!!!!..

    COOKIES FOR EVERYBODY! WOOOO!!!!

  • hell yeah thats clean! Go wings shuttin out the blackhawks in game one of 10-11 season.

  • 100% clean hit, the penalty is complete bullshit and anyone who thinks otherwise is out of their mind. If anything the Blackhawks players should have been reprimanded for being reckless and trying to jump Kronwall, the only reason Havlat wasn't cut was Kronwall was on top of him preventing his "teammates" "protecting" Havlat from stepping on him.

  • whoever says he is dirty and leaves his feet is dumb and needs a lesson in physics...if u collide and own sombody that badly...your body will naturaly lift off the ground after contact is made like it does here. completely clean

  • Who the fuck cares if it was clean or not? The fact is that those hockey shitheads kept fighting like assholes right beside the guy that just got leveled. Why would you do that? The refs wanted to make sure no one else would get hurt by unreasonable testosterone levels, and to ensure that the guy who got fucking decked was alright, but they made it impossible. Seriously, hockey nowadays is about who has the tinier penis and is compensating for it. What the fuck?

  • that was one of the biggest cleanest hits u will see. hit with shoulder, puck was there and feet were on the ice, doesn't get much cleaner

  • Comment removed

  • his feet stay on the ice until moment of impact,

  • was clean defs

  • illegible hit left his feet but still awesome.

  • Until the hit I made, kronwall does not leave his feet. And the highest goes once he hits him is 6 inches. Now if kronwall gets tossed for this than marian hossa shoulda been tossed for his hit in the nashville series.

  • clean hit

  • head shot! next year this hit will be SUSPENSION! GOOD

  • i love how maple leafs fans dirty talk the red wings! THEY ARE THE ONES TO TALK!!!

  • Clean... he's just been Kronwalled that's it.

  • lawl

  • i wonder where all those dipshits hide when the wings are in first place in the west? usually you don`T see anyone of em. but beware a season where the wings are not in first due to a full platoon of injuries and the tools crawl out of the woodwork.

wings will get into the playoffs again suckas

  • clean hit...

    go wings

  • @MrMarsisdead He jumps, he elbows him, he hits him before he has the puck, and he hits him in the head.

There was nothing clean about it. Oh well. Hope the Wings had fun golfing while the Hawks won the cup!

    Go Hawks!

  • Comment removed

  • @hockeymatt1994 a cocky hawks fan.. wow that's new. truthfully i like the hawks, they where the better team and they won...just like we where the better team for like 20years, you sound like a Habs fan, so quick to gloat when you win, yet ignoring the decades...and i mean decades of them sucking .what does them winning the cup have to do with havlat and his head down? ..i liked stuart's hit on havlat too... makes me smile...Congrats hawks, clean hit and Go Wings!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrMarsisdead Wow, you didn't respond to a damn thing I said, you just tried to deflect it with other random shit.

    Dirty, dirty hit.

  • @hockeymatt1994 i am not wasting anymore seconds thinking about this. it was clean never left his feet, stop crying about it.

  • @MrMarsisdead Who's crying about it? Kronwall is dirty, and he clearly left his feet

  • @hockeymatt1994 are you serious? his feet leaves the ice AFTER CONTACT IS MADE. his elbows were in and Havlat LET THE PUCK GO THROUGH HIS FEET! it was a clean hit. oh and im sure they do enjoy golfing im sure its tiring playing in 2 cup finals in a row. how many cups do the hawks have in the past 40 years? 1?

  • @yooper2 yeah, blah blah blah, no one gives a flying fuck what they did in the past. Johnny lifted the cup this year, and Nik got 3 over par. The Hawks are better than the Wings, end of story

  • @hockeymatt1994 are you serious? this lost half their team! and detroit got better detroits third line will be better than Chicagos 2nd line. good luck repeating with marty cant win in the playoffs (or joe louis arena) turco and a bunch of 4th liners filling out the 2nd through third lines/

  • @yooper2 They still have Hossa, Kane, Toews, Sharp, Keith, Seabrook, Campbell, and a ton of good rookies. Maybe they wont be cup contenders this year, but nobody thinks Detroit is either (besides Detroit fans)

  • @hockeymatt1994 haha your funny, 4-0 wings in game 1?

  • @Skorowin77 WOW! Detroit won a regular season game that has no importance whatsoever?

Awesome! Go have a fuckin cookie

  • @hockeymatt1994 thanks!! i will

  • @MrMarsisdead how is that a clean hit when he didn't have the puck?

  • @keremes maybe you should clean your computer monitor, that black thing at Havlat's feet, yeah that's a Puck. it's a clean hit. Scott Stevens made his whole career at it, maybe if Kronwall was Canadian He would have gotten away with it, but that's beside the point, it's a clean hit. Jiri Hudler had his head down against anaheim and got the same treatment ....Keep your head up!

what the hell is kronwasll suppose to do? it's hockey...it's a physical game.

  • clean

  • IF that wasnt a clean hit I dont know what is.

  • Why is hitting a defenseless player in the head not a suspendable but when a brother clips Kronwall's knee its 5 games?

  • defenseless? The puck was within 2 inches of his skates, he had his head down. Kronwall stepped up to make the play and put a shoulder into his chest. That's as clean as they come. Had Havlat had his head up, maybe he wouldn't have been clocked. The Chicago players endangered him more by going after Kronwall on top of him. And Laraque deserved what he got, he clearly stuck his leg out for the collision.

  • Because It was an intentional attack on Kronwall to take out his knee. Kronwall's hit on havlat was completely clean. The puck was there, and the fact that it was called an interference is a load of BS! The rules are if the puck is there you are fair game. Now, if kronwall had left his feet or raised his elbow, then the rules would have been broken!

  • @RonMcCain Dude he did leave his feet! Kronwall clearly jumped into Havlat. They should have called charging not interference, though. That's definitely a major penalty and a game misconduct.

  • @fffresshRice ur fukin retarted

  • @burtons13 You don't know official hockey rules, huh?

  • as much as i can't stand the wings, that was one hell of a hit, clean too. Havlat just forgot what heads up hockey means

  • what's funny about this is wisniewski hit doan the same way this season, resulting in no injury and was suspended 2 games. plus doan had the puck on his stick and saw wiz coming. bias anyone???

  • this is a clean hit havlat couldve played the puck and avoided the hit but instead he put his head down and while the puck was between his legs in the most dangerous spot to do and he payed for it

  • I defiantly think it was legal, it was just a huge fucking hit.

  • Dustins a dumb, why would you tackle knronwall on top of havlet?

    Great clean Hit!

    go wings!

  • how big is byughlin? 6'5. he is huge lookin

  • Actually, Dustin Byfuglien is 6'3", but he weighs 247 pounds.

  • really? he looks taller then that. thanks though

  • ya that shit was clean baby....cant wait to have havlet for the wild next year.....im a blackhawks fan also....good pick gettting hossa hes a stud

  • it was a completely legal hit, his feet didn't leave the ground until the hit which was from impact it wasn't an elbow it was the shoulder and havlat went for the puck and it went through his legs, not kronwalls fault.... 100% legal... good hard hit... we need more like this BUT without injury!

  • sometimes its good for a game changing player on the opposition to be out for the game, but not a serious injury like this

  • Legal hit? first of all they called interference not Charging but it can still be called Charging whether he leaves his feet before or after he makes impact a jump is still a jump he's known for this. aside from that it's interference and Kronwall admited to that and rules say if an interference results in an injury it's a game misconduct

  • I'm a Hawks fan, so I hate the Wings. Regardless, that was a clean hit. Textbook.

  • your either unfamiliar with the rules or just saying your a hawks fan and not cause I will quote you the exact rules if you want them

  • Clean.

  • lol franzen reaction lol he knew he was a clean it

  • Its the blackhawks byfuglien that is the idiot here. nice hit then he starts a fight ontop of havlat, skates everywhere,

  • nonono he took two strides, percectly legal. the only reason he leaves the ice is because he gets a bit low and explodes into the hit which is the most powerful way to do it. if havlat actually tried to stand his ground he wouldn't of left his feet. plus there wasn't any injury he played the next game, he just got laid the #@%$ out.

  • the commentary speaks for itself NUFF SAID

  • that was a beautiful clean hit.. he used his shoulder and thats it.. if it was a bad hit.. the nhl would have suspended him.. but as we saw.. he didnt

  • charge much? legal my ass

interference it is not, but a charge, definately arguable

distance travelled, plus skates off the ice, plus injury to the player

if your gonna tell me im wrong prove it

  • how is this A BADHIT.MAYBE BECAUSE THE REF SEEN KRONWALLS ARMS COME UP AFTER HAVLAT WAS ON THE ICE! SO I THINK IT WAS A CLEAN HIT

  • thank you. I appreciate people realizing it was completely legal and a terrible call

  • Kunitz hit was nicer than this hit this hit looks dirty and knowing kronwall it probably is dirty but go wings anyway

  • it was clean. why? well 2 words. ITS HOCKEY! it was tough but there was nothing bad about it. but the idiot who came and hit kronwall ontop of his unconncies teammate. way to go, your a moron

  • What fucking idiots, if you're a blackhawk, what would go through your head to think it was a good idea to check someone ONTOP of your unconscious teammate?

  • sissy.

  • alright u fucking pussy, u go take that hit. thats one of the hardest hits ive ever seen from kronwall

  • If I did, i wouldn't complain about it being illegal

  • Love how the Wings answered cheap shots with heaps of shots - on goal. Blackhawks got schooled... pretty good team, put up a good game, but once the breaks didn't go their way in officiating they just got outplayed. Period. This hit is beautiful, so Wings missed out on a sweep - big deal. So they called this stupid hit a misconduct and let all kinds of cheap stuff get through. What pisses me off is back to back games with the Wings roughed up by both Ducks and Hawks in the last two rounds.

  • The NHL is becoming totally pussified. How the fuck does a d-man get ejected for a CLEAN HIT? Since when did hockey become figure skating? It's a good thing Scott Stevens isn't playing today or else his HOF career would've been cut short by dishing out too many concussions.

  • amen

  • testify brotha...ps, love the name.

  • did you just say havlat is better than any wing? your clueless than; datsyuk, franzen, zetterberg, samulesson, hossa, flippula. they are all better than havlat soo.

  • First..Havlat had the puck under control even it was between his legs but he knew he got the puck and was looking around for someone to pass..and second: kronwall didnt jump on him and it was clean hit...look the video "What is the most brutal game NFL or NHL" i think thats the name..But there you can see many hits like this even more dangerous and terrifying and i dont think they got 5 min + end of the game..Its fucking awful but thats hockey and it was clean! thats my opinion

  • Awesome legal hit, shocking call by refs!

  • good hit. i cant believe they called this and not the kunitz hit on timmonen in the flyers\pens series.

  • havlat sucks balls. you need to shut your mouth you stupid chicago fan. last time i checked the wings actually win in the playoffs.

  • marty havlat is better than any other player on ur team so i would shutup!

  • on who's team, the Lightning?

  • lmao

  • I dont think he is better than datsyuk or hossa....it doesnt depends just on how much points they got.Dont care that havlat has more points than dacjuk but he can still suck dacjuks balls :)

  • totally clean, the black hawks are weak,

    go wings!!!

  • Clean hit. There is no charge on the hit he might have left his feet a bit but nothing that would warrant a game misconduct.

  • unbelievable. a 5 minute major for interference? maybe give hiim the benifit of the doubt and give him a minor. these refs should be fired for rooting for the blackhawks.

  • That ws a sweet ass hit. no doubt about it. but a penalty? A game misconduct? There shouldn't have been anything called because:

The puck was Havlat's his skates

He didn't leave his feet until after contact

    Havlat had his head down

Dumbasses who have their heads down are gonna get rocked

  • he did not leave his feet. The rule states you can't leave your feet before the hit. His feet left the ice after the hit.

blackhawks fans must be a bunch of pussys like the team itself. Clean hit all the way.

No elbow, he didn't leave his feet.

your boy put his head down.

SUCK IT BLACKHAWKS! WELCOME TO THE PLAYOFFS!

  • my god even blackhawks fans cant deny that amazing hit. im not saying they should welcome it, but they should at least accept that it wasn't illigal at all.

  • I am a red wings fan. And that deserved a suspension. He left his feet.

  • If you say you're a Wings fan, and/or that deserved a suspension, you must be a bandwagon Wings fan, as you have no idea how hockey is played. Just listen to the unbiased commentators (CBC, not Versus) - "I don't see how that's interference, or why he's getting kicked out of the game."

  • your no wings fan. and you dont no anything about hockey soo watch the video agian and listen to the commentators maybe you will learn a few things

  • Clean hit. Big hit! No question

  • mike babcocks new game plan is to have all his players skate with their heads down and keep the puck in their feet so no one can hit them without being punished. It will be the offensive equivalent of the defensive trap in gayness. It will be called "the Havlat." Coming to an untalented hockey team near you. Havlat is a pioneer. GO WINGS. THE TRAP + THE HAVLAT = CHAMPIONSHIP

  • Ahh, but you forgot about the 1, 2, 2

  • The hit looked legal to me but I think something should still be done to maybe stop this kind of stuff from happening. Players are so big, fast, and strong anymore. I clean hit like that is gonna kill someone one day

  • what do you propose?

  • I don't propose anything. Its not like me saying it will make it happen

  • dude shut up...his skates came up after he hit him....that was fair hit....he had puck at his feet if he couldnt find it hes as bad as me at hockey....admit it was fair hit... nothing was illegal.... everyone knows it.. and why did you say "kromies" its kronwall and it isnt "havie" its havlat....you arent a good fan of the black hawks and the wings destroyed hawks in fourth game..... 6-1

  • great call by ref. Kromies skates were off the ice. & Havie never found the 'puck. L ike any other play in nhl do the crime do the time. READ THIS SO YOU CAN STOP CRYING

  • The puck was in his feet! It's fair game! It was a sympathy call because Havlat got knocked the fuck out...great hit, get your fuckin' head up DUMBASS!

  • one game for hitting to hard?

  • It was a clean hit. Havlat has no one to blame but himself. He looked to see if anyone was coming but as soon as he put his head down Kronwall tnailed him, nice and clean

  • That hit was nice and clean!!

  • hahahah ;D

  • awseome hit now im proud to be swedish i love kronwalls fysical play:D

  • big hit, possibly interference if the puck wasnt in a playable position, whats kromwall supposed to do??? let havlat through?? no he nailes his ass

  • Wow. Clean, heavy hit.

I'm glad to see there are more swedes than just Murray who does these kind of hits. This made me smile widely, haha, it's just a perfect hit. :')

  • clean hit, Havlat needs to keep his head up

Campbell is the one who jumped in the hit, Kronwall didn't leave his feet, it seems like it because at the point of contact both went into air. Clean hit Campbell should know that.

  • I thought Havlat was dead, a clean hit, hard hit, knock out hit, and he gets thrown out, chicago eats the wings shittt

  • I am amazed at how many people think this was dirty because it was 'mean'.

No one's fault but Hav's -- and he, Brian Campbell, Joel Q, and the rest of the hawks know it. If hawk's fans had been watching for the last 10 years, they'd all know it too.

Hockey is ''mean' sometimes -- welcome to our sport -- I hope you stick around long enough to get used to it.

  • That was a clean hit, Chicago is too young and shouldn't even be in the playoffs

  • It was a very unfortunate thing that Havlat was knocked out, but, this is a clean hockey hit. What else is a defenseman supposed to do? I suppose he is expected to let Havlat play the puck up. Give me a break. The whole chicago bench was yelling "heads up!" Havlat kept his head down. Have we not learned from Umberger, who has been knocked out twice from not keeping his head up? Let's be real. You guys just looove to hate Detroit. Go WIIIIIIIIIINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Its a jerk of a hit. to scary and to dangerous to defend. Shame on you and shame on Kromwell. He will get it this summer.

  • From who, the Blachawks who couldn't even beat Detroit without Lidstrom and Datstyuk?

  • Its kronwall not kromwell fag. Clean hit. Just got havlat got his shit rocked and got knocked out cold doesn't mean its dirty. Its hockey, its supposed to be physical. Blackhawks aimed for kronwall in game 4 and look what happened. 6-1. hahaha Detroit is going for the repeat fag

  • Are you serious? Shame on me? I made no disrespectful comment. I stated the facts. If you dont like full contact sports you should probably just stick to soccer. This is hockey. No one cried about Holmstrom getting double teamed by Chris Pronger and another Duck. It split his head open, he had to have stiches, and he game back to score the winning goal I believe. Chicago fans get butt hurt real easily. So does their coach. Thats why he was fined 10,000 dollars. Its not a game of touch hockey.

  • so will your mother. clean hit havlat should know better to keep his head down

  • Swedish steel! ;)

  • The Kron-Wall of pain !

  • the majority of hits that cause concussions are dirty but i hate to say Havlat just ended his own career Eric Lindros style one quick bad decision shoulda just clearde the puck out of the zone

  • SUCK MY COCK HAVLAT! you piece of shit!

guy needs to keep his fucking head up, Kronwall will just run him in again.

clean it, dont try to argue it.

kand might also want to keep his head up to, kronwall almost ran him through at the end of the 1st period in game four.

  • hey wat cock you little piece of crap that was a dirty hit he was looking for the puck dude he wasnt studying the floor!

  • dude he had his head down and the puck was in the around him its havalats fault that he didnt play the puck so i dont see why everyone is bitching at kronwall cause havalat set him self up

  • Actually, Stuart got to him first

  • un dia un niño se volvio loco y ahorco a su mama y a su padre ahora que haz leido esto el aparesera al lado tuyo cuando te despiertes y te ahorcara para salvarte pega esto en 3 videos mas. ES CIERTO

  • Ridiculous....Hit was clean otherwise the refs would have caught it right away....he did not leave the ice....Havlat needs to keep his head up....the only reason why it labeled a "dirty hit" is because of the reaction. Kronwell should not be suspended. Doesn't matter, the Wings are going to destroy the Hawks. Wings in 6.

  • worst fight NHL teams; top 5

    1 St louis

    2 Vancouver

    3 Boston

    4 Tampa

    5 Colorado

  • yeah you shouldnt call havlat a pansy what the hell was he gonna do lmao.

nice hit by kronwall but lmfao if you think havlat couldve done anything to save himself, i felt bad for him.

  • Ha ha ha...I would like to see mongoskater2 stand up after a hit like that. Pansy ass mongoskater2...

  • did anyone die in the crowd:O?

  • clean hit

  • SWE POWER :D

  • if this is high quality, im fucking matt damon

  • I still can't believe he got thrown out of the game for that! That was a perfectly clean hit: the puck was right at Havlat's feet, it was a shoulder check, he didn't jump at him (like some of Ovechkin's checks). That was one of the best and most devastating hits I've ever seen and it certainly DID NOT deserve a 5 min. penalty and a game misconduct. It won't matter in the long run though because the Wings will win the series. GO WINGS!!!!

  • I forgot to add that NONE of the refs had their hand up, which means that none of them were going to call a penalty. They only called it once the Blackhawks fans started booing and complaining. The guy had his head down and got nailed. He should know by now not to do that, so stop complaining and realize that you're only in this series because of the refs and luck.

  • it's called a hit to the head, intentional. learn the game of hockey

  • to the head? are you blind? that hit was clean, and to the chest. kronwall doesnt go, "im gunna smoke his dome!" you learn the game of hockey

  • hahah smoke his dome.

  • Intentional? If you're talking about the hit then yes, the hit was intentional. But there was no intent to injure there. It was a clean hit timed perfectly and Havlat had his head down. If Havlat's head was up we wouldn't be talking about this right now, there wouldn't have been a penalty, and the Wings would be up 3-0 in the series. As for the hit to the head, Kronwall MAYBE hit him in the chin. Regardless, Havlat had his head down. The fact that Kronwall only got his chin is pretty impressive.

  • Spizzle, you should learn the game. Yea the hit was intentional. If you can't take it, maybe you shouldnt play. Kronwell did whatever any other hockey player woul have done, go for the puck and take out who ever is in the way. Clean hit. Wings in 6.

  • Clean hit asshole, Havalat decided not to play it with his stick, and play it with his feet and look down at the ice, Kronwall made him pay for it, clean hit,

  • only reason why theres any arguements here is blackhawks fans making excuses for one of there players being a pansy ass motherfucker and got knocked the FUCK out clean

  • a dumbass fan whos never played the game mongo

how is he a pansy ass? what normal man could take that hit? he expected the puck to come to his stick, which he would then see kronwall coming & brace for it, but it hit the boards & went thru his legs. its called a timing chance. u dumb ape shut up

& i hate both teams. go pens

  • lmao im an ape now?? and yes i have played the game i started when i was 4 and have played up till now and im 17

  • of course you'd say that. how original. specially on utube

still a moron tho, nice reply

  • BTW that last comment was for Mr.Objective who thinks he's Gary Bettman.

  • clean hit all shoulder ...if this happens every time there is a big hit they should make it a non contact game ..he got caught with his head down end of story

  • Clean hit? maybe. But not a legal hit according to the NHL rule book. You should read it. Rule 56.1 on interference. The refs followed the rule book to a T.

  • to a t huh ??????? not 1 reference to what kronwell did at all !! especially nothing in reference to a 5 min.major and game misconduct ....OH I get it.... your reading from the special NHL Blackhawks rule book of crybabies!!!!

  • Body Position: Body position shall be determined as the player skating in front of or beside his opponent, traveling in the same direction. A player who is behind an opponent, who does not have the puck, may not use his stick, body or free hand in order to restrain his opponent, but must skate in order to gain or reestablish his proper position in order to make a check. There it is to a T !!!!!!

  • you sir, are an idiot.

  • Ooooo... is that the best you can come out with?

    one word... weeeak !!

  • its not womens volleyball, believe it or not people actually get hit in this sport

  • Interfernce?

He's absoulty kidding You see that havlat has the puck and look down...

    Interference for he get injured...!

And I'm not a red wings fan!

  • i cant believe the comments we all know mjefers1234567890 is a blackhawks fan what a pussy just so you know the blackhawks are gonna get knocked out and by the way the hit was clean and im not even a redwing fan but its true he hit him with his shoulder the dumbass got caught with his head down and paid for it if you think its dirty learn hockey and get a rulebook

  • Dirty Hit!!

Don't worry what goes around comes around. May not be this series. May be next year, but kromwall or some other Red Wing is going to get Lite Up!

Enjoy your talking now cause the Black Hawks are going to run this conference for the next 10 years.

  • piffffffffffffffffffff hahahahahahaha

  • ballsy claim. very ballsy. detroit has unbelievable depth and good choice in draft picks. what does chicago have? a whiny bitchy coach

  • Hey buddy

Just wondered how your "unbelievable depth and good choice in draft picks." were doing? Did you catch last night's game? 9th place keep up the good work and get those golf clubs out in April.

    <
