Click on the 'cachew' on the right hand side, then click and drag on 'Screen Edge'. Move it wherever you want.

They are a part of Mandriva 2010.0 with KDE. Simply turn on desktop effects.

Mandriva is my favorite distro. It's a shame it's not more popular.

My God those are some annoying explosive effects. Personally I use only the fade effect for window creation and destruction. That's as much as I can take. :-)
