Hey everyone, would you check out my channel and watch my video of me playing lead over a blues track and tell me what you think? I'm more of a metal guy but I've been trying to teach myself blues rock. Like if you like it and please comment your opinion :D
It's a small Blackstar combo, 20 watt HT Studio 20, that I've been using for all the video instruction for a while now. Its' great, really easy to get a good clean or dirty tone really quickly, and it's not expensive. It's been a workhorse for me for the last year....
Andy Aledort is awesome ! Does he have an instructional DVD out or something like that ? Because i found myself looking for videos on youtube. He plays nice, he talks nice, he`s chill as fuck.
@MrSatanochio Andy does have several DVD's out. I picked up a couple of his Hendrix DVD's and they were spot on. Check out Guitar World for more info on them. They often have some cheap deals going on as well.
Why are none of the licks are actually La Grange licks? They are right in the beginning, but then, become less and less correct. I don't get it.

Maybe coz even the original artist rarely plays the same solo twice. You need to get off on the feel not a rigid note format.
