  • They're English but are in that movie and have to act this way.

  • interesting how these german people have english accents...

  • wow...thats the kind of trailer that sticks in your head!!

  • how can Hitler be so cruel :)

  • so sad :)

  • MADE ME CRY ( the movie )

  • Bruno was 9 though:L

  • There's a line in the movie where the tutor said if you kno a nice Jew if be the greatest adventurer. So wat the tutor is saying is that I am the world's greatest adventurer cuz I kno 2 nice Jews but I also kno 1 that's a complete dick....

  • this movie was to sad but the clever thing and the key to this story i think is that bruno died with his friend and that shows good friendship most people wouldnt go in there to help somebody but i felt so sad at the ending it shouldnt have happened like that :/

  • This movie is so amazing! Asa Butterfield was the perfect little actor, performing brilliantly with the rest of the cast. The story is both touching and fantastic. Well done to all in involved.

  • i watched this in 5th grade i had night mares about it kus it was so sad

  • This movie is so moving, amazing film.... can someone please tell me, if they know, the name of the classical piano piece that plays at the very beginning of the video... I've been searching but can't find it... please, I'd really appreciate it!!!!

  • I wish film makers would show the broad spectrum of people that were in these camps. Not all Jewish by any means. Nazi camps killed around 11 million total. But only Jews get the spotlight on the atrocities........why?

  • @YiuTeub: I've often wondered the same thing. I guess it's because Hitler's platform was built on the rampant antisemitism in Germany at the time, but yeah, it would be nice (not to mention considerate of ALL of the deceased and their families) if people acknowledged that it wasn't just Jews who died in those camps.

  • [SPOILER SPOILER]

His own parent killed him, he was in gas chamber (Thought it was a shower-ish) with his imprisoned friend when his father gave the signal. Will be one of my favorite books ever.

  • @AgustinNoesEverythin his father didn't give them the signal he was looking for him

  • @AgustinNoesEverythin Either you read it wrong or the movie is different than the book. Cause in the movie his father is at the house, unaware that he's at the camp. Then when they notice he's missing, they find that he was accidently put in the gas chamber by the soldiers later

  • i was watcing this today and at the end the kid get burned :(

  • this is the best movie i ever seen ! so beautiful and sad at the same time .

  • i liked when they said he would be home when they won the warvand i was like ya nice try bud u aint going to win

  • We're watching this movie in class at a Holocaust memorial museum, and we're also going into a claustrophobic replica of a cattle car. I can't stand most of my classmates who cause me claustrophobia in a giant room, I feel so bad for the Jews.

  • We're watch

  • 2.05 :S Pyjamas is spelt wrong..

  • @LeontiaDancer There are different spellings, I think that's the US spelling. I think actually 'Pajamas' is the more authentic of the two spellings.

  • This may be the saddest movie I've watched. It was also one of the best too!

  • @taylorselena1 have you read the book? its even sadder

  • I wish there was a sequel, where American soldiers invaded and killed all teh Nazis. Then Bruno and Schmol would be alive and Bruno would be an hero.

  • I HATE STUPID NACIST RETARDED FOOLS I ASK SOME TIMES SELF WHY SATAN SEND TO WORLD HITLER?

  • Comment removed

  • @annefan235 are you speaking English?

  • Joshua

  • 😭💔

  • Oh my god! When I saw this, I cried hysterically! I don't mean they way u usually cry during sad movies, I mean HYSTERICAL. I had to leave the room. I couldn't take it. I lost control when they were walking in the chamber and the little boy kept reassuring his self he would be fine. I took a shower and cried for like an hour because it reminded me too much of my cousin mason -3 I don't know what I'd do without him.

  • this move is the best and it is hella sad at the end :(

  • oh i read the book of this last year at school

  • My friend Megan told me she watched this; Its amazingly sad,she said it was the burning of jews, and I said was it WWII in the german conenration camps,My great great grandad survived this,by changing his last name to something not jewish. But anyways this is very sad,Hitler and others had no right whatsoever to do this,The holocaust was incredibly upsetting ok? Many died such as Anne Frank & Her sister.

  • Hi Kyle!

  • Omg so so so so so sad.

  • (ーー;)

  • Amazing movie it made me cry but I wish the ending would of been better i was not expecting it to end that way not that they died but they didnt make the ending longer Bruno parents could of at least ask question and go look in the gas chamber and at least his poor mother could of explain how she felt something like that....But this movie show us that there are good people in the world dont allways listen to people they could be wrong your heart is the best thing to listen to

  • @princessINpink11 you are right!

  • @princessINpink11 spoiler !

  • watched this today in school was actully crying<3:,(

  • Continued: (Because I hit send by accident.) Hitler was an evil man. I shouldn't even say "man." He's a monster. He and his gang of bullies were personally responsible for the deaths of millions of people. How dare you.

  • @naziarabfriend1941 You are deluded and evil. What have the Jews ever done to you? It wasn't just the Jews. It was the gays, disabled, romanys

  • I didn't cry. What's wrong with me?

The only movie that made me cry was wall-e. wtf?

  • Its the werewolf in Harry Potter 1:42

  • Asa Butterfield is an amazing Actor :)

  • had to watch this in school :'(

  • Its funny how we care about children but when they get older we don't give two shits about them. Not saying I don't, I try to care about everyone but in most cases people only care about children instead of everyone.

  • this is dumb in the book he is 9 and his sister is just as dumb about it as him

  • :'((((

  • I'm on chapter 12

  • I'm reading this book at school

  • @KimInLosAngeles why wouldn't they just use one bullet to the head I mean burying someone alive can take hours and it takes up space.

  • I didn't like this movie it ended to quickly and left you kinda hollow on the inside. Mabey that was the point but I didn't enjoy it. And I wanted to choke Bruno, kid annoyed the shut out of me.

  • cried like a little girl watching this movie

  • I cry every time I watch this movie </3

  • Anyone read the book? Brought tears to my eyes. The Fury :( (What Bruno thought the Fuhrer to be)

  • the commander's son dies in the gas chamber

  • i saw the movie in school

  • he looks similar to the kid who was in the 2006 omen

  • When I saw this i couldnt stop crying. It was just so sad how the kids didnt understand what was really happening :'(

  • Oh nazis

  • i don't care what anyone says.. grownups are evil. screw money and land.

  • it is really sad. I feel really bad for the little jew boy

  • glorious days , burn the Jews >> Heil Hitler !!!

  • @naziarabfriend1941 ............... You cant be serious?

  • @MissSmoshFan39

    well IAM . Heil Hitler!!

  • I watched this film the other night and cried. Especailly the part where the Nazi soldiers punishes Schmul and the elderly doctor, and at the end...

  • James Horner is a great composer

  • 0800 096 8202

  • I saw this movie, and it was so moving, that I cried at the ending, even when I knew it wasn't real, and when it finished I couldn't speak for three hours straight. Not even Celeb Big Brother from 2011 could get me to laugh, joke, or comment, and that's something I usually can't help myself on every episode.

  • @shionamcmillan675 Actually, this was real. Obviously not the story, however the clever thing about this film is you connect with the two boys and hope they get out of there, but over one million children were killed during the Holocaust, and they were just as innocent as the two kids in the film.

  • @djomercohen you are a sick person, how do you get satisfaction out of that sad ending? Your the same type of person who put those people in those gas chambers, and you say the "good kid" does that mean all the Jews were bad?

  • @ChasefreedomMusic /he gets the satisfaction because he is a NAZI! The stupid b*stard! Just look at the name of them.

  • The ending so damn saddd!!

  • NAZI soldiers got it when the Soviets came and put THEM in soviet concentration camps.

  • I study this at school for english . Really sad :(

  • so sad.......

    IDOTS NAZI.

  • it has a very difficult ending.

its very disappointing and sad that it happens to the good kid but also give a minor feeling of satisfaction.

  • @djomercohen As opposed to the other kid (and people) who weren't "good"? I'm assuming this came out wrong :) This movie depressed the hell out of me and made me sick to my stomach. It utterly disgusts me that this happened. The very depths of hell isn't enough punishment for Hitler and his followers.

  • @sweetness48 i was talking about the little kid who was a friend of the little Jewish kid in the camp which seemed to be innocent, not about the rest of his family.

BTW, in reality this wouldn't happen because all German kids were sent to schools who brainwash them against Judaism, especially the kids of those who had significant jobs related to that matter.

in real life that kid would not have any contact with the Jewish kid in the camp.

  • this movie is sad burno gets killed and he tries to go save shumuel he anit 8 he freaking 9

  • To everyone saying that the USSR are jews, guess what? They weren't, soviet Russia was godless, they banned religion, and yes stalin DID starve millions of people in urkrian, but jews had nothing to do with. Both fascists and commusits killed millions of jews, christians, atheists, ect. So stop bitchin no ones right. killing people is bad in general, to every race, religion, and nationality, there is good and bad people. Haven't any of you herd the saying : 'Don't judge a book by it's cover'?

  • this was a very sad movie!

  • I just finished reading the book. It made me cry. :| Everyone should read it and watch this movie.

  • This is one og my favorite movies. I can't stop crying when I watch it. It's so sad, and I just can't understand how people could do those things to other people just because they belive in something else.

My grandmother's father was is Auswitch because he was against the holocaust, so my gm has told me alot of what happened to her father, and it's absoulutly horrible, luckily he got out alive when the war ended.

  • Why did feelings in Europe rise against Jews before the war? Well, it was possibly because Jewish Bolsheviks were on a murdering spree, killing innocent Europeans before Hitler raised a hand

  • @jimmysmith20011 - no it was nothing like that. The Germans, and European murdered the jews out of pure racism, to find a scategoat, and lay all their troubles on them. Just like the Americans, 200 years ago, murdered the blacks and slaved them from the same reason. Jews not only did not kill any innocent Europeans, but were very active in the society, contributing in all aspects, and helping others. Jews were also known for the cherity organizations, for non-jews as well.

  • @ofri75 Jews contribute to societies? Can you even name ONE society Jews haven't been kicked out of? Oh and Jews didn't murder Europeans? So Béla Kun and Lazar Kaganovich are only two Jews who together killed millions of innocent Europeans BEFORE Hitler, and thus causing Hitler to rise to power. Jews started the race hatred and murder, and the Holocaust was the natural result of Europeans defending themselves against Jews murdering them.

  • @hyattron90 troll more

  • @ofri75 Thank you for sharing your brilliant insight though...wow, LAZAR KAGANOVICH never intentionally starved millions of innocent Ukrainians. Thanks for informing me! You're brilliant.

  • @hyattron90 - USSR policy had NOTHING to do with the nazi racist policies toward the jews,or to the murder and genocide of Jews. Kaganovich was a Soviet minister in the USSR, and was Jewish. The Soviet Union had many nations, including Jews. The Soviet Union had commited many crimes and murders, but to blame Jews for these crimes because some (minority) of the official soviets were Jews is ridiculous, and nazi propaganda. Jews in every country were very active, and that included the USSR.

  • @hyattron90 - you seem to be obsessed with your antisemitism, and come to holocaust videos and spread your hate and racism. It's pathetic. Try to do something more productive. Jews NEVER ordered as a group ANY kind of genoside. The JEws under the Soviet Union suffered just like all the rest and even more, since they were a monirity and suffered from the anti-semitism. Your filthy attempts to spread your contaminating racism in such wonderful videos just expose ur hate, ignorance and racism.

  • @teamewdward119 NO IT DIDN'T. Stop spreading lies. It has been greatly taken out of context and exaggerated. No one is saying it didn't happen at all.

  • I saw this movie when it came out and I am almost down with the book but I want to watch the movie again. Its a very sad story trust me I saw it and almost done reading it.

  • Is sad you Know?

  • Oops I ment schmuel! Not samuel
