  • damn you Kwame Brown.... stay in front of damn tim thomas.... this still hurts :p

  • wow, how bad did kobe want this win. His only flaw is being surrounded by underachievers.

  • His last game being #8

  • @7:37 that is one of kobe's most ridiculous shot, even some of the suns players in the bench was like.."cmon,that's not fair!"

  • I don't think people realize how simply AMAZING the last two shots he made were..

  • Old Payton and old, injured Malone played a big part, but KB outside of one game had a terrible series. Shaq was the most efficient player on the court, while KB continued to gun it up.

LBJ at his best has been just as effective statistically as MJ. He's just not finished product yet, although him ever coming through at the end isnt promised. I will say that Kobe entertains me just as much as Mike did though cause he makes shots noone has ever even dreamed of taking late in postseason games.

  • His last game as #8

  • @Anthonydp no that would have been game 7 of this series

  • and people say kobes a ballhog....

  • This is not the only year Kobe got robbed of the MVP award. All through out his career, Kobe was always on a bad position, but he still managed to win though. This series just solidifies how great Kobe is, imagine this Lakers roster with Smush parker as your 3rd option, c'mon. If Kobe only had a better team on his career, he would've won 6 titles by now.

  • crowd was buzzing!

  • you see why fundenmental is so important all the lakers needed was a rebound to pass to the next round

  • I still can't believe how he did not get an MVP that year.

  • Comment removed

  • This is kobe in his prime...Unstoppable...

  • My bad...it's Kevin Harlan who's doing the commentary here. I still stand by my original statement though.

  • "RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES" - Marv Albert should do voice overs for porn.

  • @ghostofkenny That's actually Kevin Harlan.

  • @BlackSabotage100 Shit. Well, I guess they should both do voiceovers for porn then. We'll give the softcore stuff to Harlan and Marv can handle the more kinky, hardcore shit.

  • @ghostofkenny that is not Marv Albert, though... It's Kevin Harlan!

  • @ghostofkenny just so you now the comentator is kevin harlen not marv albert but albert is still good :d

  • This guy is so overated lol!

  • Truely a remarkable playoff performance and that shot he Kobey created @ 7:37 is simple BANANAS! I beleive that this era of his career was simply his peak where he exceled to another dimension in which he came the closest to matching Michael and even superceding. This cemented his greateness as an all time great & definitaly within the top 10 of all time with the lights of Michael, Isaish Thomas, Magic, Shaq, Hakeem Alajawane, Barkley, Bird, Pippen, docter "J", Wilt Chamberlian. In my opinion.

  • @2blessed847 I've thought that that shot has been so underrated for years. and they say Kobe doesn't have any "memorable moments" in the post season...that's bs

  • they lose here?

  • we should have won this shit

  • dude, that shot at 7:36 proves that he hits the toughest shots, by far, of all time. look at the footwork, its just... damn.

  • i remember watching this live

watching this replay made my heart start beating fast

  • and ppl say lebron was better this year SMFH...

  • 8:10 and 8:17 Its crazy!!! Call it Luck or Call it Skill.. BUT NOBODY ELSE CAN DO WHAT HE DOES..

  • Staples Center should turn on the lights again.

  • wow...Kobe averaged 35 ppg that year and his team was horrble....While Jordan averaged 30 his whole career, Jordan was always the first opton and had better teams than Kobe did most of the time.

  • @dvelez0311 for the first 5 or 6 years jordans team was trash jus like lebrons thats why he never won. but when he got players he could trust and count on he achieved more. kobe went thru his time with garbage teams too but now that he has a team he can count on he is back at the top. and even tho he had shaq ppl forget he still average in the high 20s in points, he was all nba 1st team defense and he took the big shot EVERY time. remember shaq cant shoot free throws

  • kobe actually still averages 27 points per game per 36 minutes. its just his minutes are down and hes not shooting as much as he used to, obviously. back then it was about getting out of the first round.. now its about getting his 6th ring.

  • 35 points a game average ... man.... can kobe even do 25 in a couple years .. time flies..

  • at 1:52 I love how commentators just warmed us about how you got good release on 3-points shot, and 2 seconds later Kobe knock it down!

  • @shaqpopcorn i think kobe passed the ball to shaq..He did not airball..

  • 2006 kobe = UNSTOPPABLE ..period!!!

  • @ 8:31 WHO FUCKIN ELSE? NO ONE

  • @ 7:36 ARE FUCKING KIDDING ME. WHO FUCKIN ELSE?

  • too bad kwame brown sucks..

  • you can never be a true fan of sports until your heart's been broken by it

  • kobe is in the top 10 alltime

lebron will get there, but he has to win championships.

  • 7:36 prolly one of the greatest shots i have ever seen haha

  • typical kobe video....leaving out the important stuff....CHECK THE FOOTAGE..

"suns vs lakers game 6 2006 playoffs part 12"....go to 3:30 and watch from there...

SITUATION= no amare for suns(missed playoffs)...raja bell was suspended in game 6 for clotheslining kobe in game 5...

scored tied 105-105....6.3 seconds left, lakers ball...

ALL kobe had to do was make 1 shot AT HOME vs the 28th ranked defense in the nba and lakers not only win the game,BUT THE SERIES...SCORING CHAMP KOBE AIRBALLED IT

  • @shaqpopcorn34 you obviously haven't MJ's quote ''I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed'' Even the great one has missed game winners. If you play the game of basketball you should know everyone airballs at least one shot in their life. Typical Kobe hater get the fuck out of here why are you on here anyway?

  • @kikeazul70 ...gotta spread the truth.....michael jordan routinely shot higher than his teams fg% and he rountinely shot a higher fg% than the league average....

as for kobe,he is behind his teams and the nba average fg% year after year,INCLUDING THIS YEAR......in fact, kobe shot 0-9 in the first quarter today...

kobe= holdsnba record 30 misses in a game.....reggie miller has never even taken 30 shots

  • @shaqpopcorn34 Arn't you the same guy that said ''No Shaq no ring for Kobe''? I remember you telling me that a few years back before Kobe won his 4th ring. That message is still in my inbox. Yet 2 years and 2 rings later, your still hating on Kobe. You have to respect the man, his skills are above the roof. He's better than you and I combined and he is the all time greats. If you hate this guy then I don't know who you like as a player Kwame Brown?

  • @shaqpopcorn34 We all know MJ was way more efficient than Kobe . Kobe knows this . Kobe's still great though.

  • @18brandon92 "MJ was way more efficient than Kobe" How is this true?

Their points per possessions are nearly identical. Kobe's eFG is 48.8 to MJ's 50.9. Kobe is an extremely efficient scorer.

Kobe and MJ are not identical players. Kobe played his career further away from the basket than MJ ever did - MJ never had a single dominating big in the post. The difference in success between a 2pter and a 3pter is gigantic - and KB has shot 2.5 times more threes than MJ ever did. He's a better shooter.

  • @thiennguyenX2 How is this true? Lmao. MJ avg'd more points in the season than KB . Mj had a higher shooting pct in the season than KB. MJ avg'd more points in the PLAYOFFS than KB & Mj had a higher shooting pct in the playoffs than Kobe. KB has been first team all D as well as Mike, but MJ had a Defensive Player of the Year the same year he had a scoring title. MJ had a lot more MVPs than the one Kobe has & Kobe has NEVER avg'd 37 ppg & has NEVER shot 50% from the field. MF was mroe efficient.

  • @18brandon92 Look at KB's first three seasons. You see something strange?

OH right, he was (along with KG) the first 18 year olds EVER in the league. Mandetory benching in 98' for rookies out of high school. Numbers for 3 entire seasons skewed. Don't bring up career stats man.

Also, I didn't say that KB as more efficient, read properly. Your quote said this.

"MJ was way more efficient than Kobe". Untrue. That is all. And Kobe avg. 35.4 in 05-06 when he had no team.

    KB is very efficient.

  • @thiennguyenX2 Okay, take out Kobe's first 4 seasons; MJ is STILL much more efficient. He was a better defender, and rebounder, didn't shoot his team out of games & was more consistently clutch. If Kobe was on the Bulls, he'd have 2 rings MAYBE. Put MJ with Shaq, or Gasol/Odom/Bynum? Lmao. KB is a great player, & i've always been a Laker fan, but he doesnt even want people to even compare him to Mike because Mike is Mike. Go the stat & record books, watch their careers side by side & you'll see.

  • @18brandon92 I'ma have to call you on putting MJ on the Lakers and KB on the Bulls. Pretty absurd thing to hypothesize imo.

Better defender = MJ is a good bet. Slightly more steals/blocks over his career too. Bigger hands, faster stronger gg MJ. But KB is no slouch either, made the DPOTY teams more often than MJ did overall.

As a scorer, KB is right up there with MJ in efficiency/PPP. If you mean, PERS do favor MJ significantly.

But as a caveat, the Bulls/MJ never had a dominate big.

  • @thiennguyenX2 My point is that Kobe has only won championships with someone on his team that shoots around 60% to balance out his 40-45% shooting percentage i.e Gasol & Shaq. He's a phenomenal player, but he doesnt shoot a high enough percentage or pass enough to go deep into the playoffs with another man down low. Even LeBron is more efficient than Kobe, which is why LBJ & Mike went deeper into the playoffs than Kobe when having virtually no help. Guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

  • @18brandon92 There you go again, with the 40-45% - his eFG is 48.8. And MJ had to Hall of Famers, and arguably one of the best defenders ever and best rebounder ever. MJ did his shit alone?

  • @thiennguyenX2 Who cares where you shoot from ? it's all about making plays after plays . a layup and a jumpshot are the same two points. KB misses too many shots & it kept him from being an even greater player. MJ shot 57% one year. Do you realize how dominating that is? I never said MJ had no help; im saying Kobe had all the help in the world & still didnt monopolize the league like he should have, the way Jordan did . & you're holding KB in too high of a regard for no reason.

  • @18brandon92 "who cares here you shoot from"

For example, suppose Player A goes 4 for 10 with 2 threes, while Player B goes 5 for 10 with 0 threes. Each player would have 10 points from field goals.

    Player B = Jordan. Player A = Kobe.

Same points score in the same number of shots taken, 10% difference in FG %. Do you get it now...?

KB took 2.5x more 3s than MJ. KB is so offensively efficient and here we have a perfectly intelligent person arguing otherwise.

  • @18brandon92 Are you telling me, Ray Allen misses too many fucking shots because is FG % is 45%???

    I don't even..

Ray Allen = greatest pure shooter of all time. 45% career shooter. Yeah... where you shoot from doesn't matter.

And KB won half the championships in the last decade. The 5 seasons he didn't win them, he was dropping

    81, 62 in 3 quarters vs. Dallas, 65 vs. port., 3 50+ in a row, 9 40+ in a row, broke MJ's 35+ streak to an all time with 12 35+ in a row. But didn't win shit.

  • @thiennguyenX2 Kobe shoots what, 30% from the 3pt line? That means Player A shot six 3s to be consistent with his avg. You're argument is baseless & MJ outdoes Kobe in almost every category outside of "shot difficulty". & Ray Allen is ONE-DIMENSIONAL He doesnt play great D, isnt a player-maker, rebounder, ot leader so stop bringing him up. & Kobe didnt win his championships dominating in the Finals either. Go check his efficiency there. I'm saying he's not as efficient as MJ in any context.

  • @18brandon92 ...KB shoots 34% career (32.7% MJ) don't round it to 30% when 4% is basically the difference between MJ and KB's career FG% to begin wit. The point is amount of shots taken from the 3. KB has taken 2.5x more 3s than MJ, statistically it skews his FG far more than MJ's lower 3 numbers did is overall FG%...stat noobs zzz

KB also shoots better from the FT line, career. So every category? And we're only talking offense so far, why do you constantly try to muddle it with other shit?

  • @18brandon92 We're talking field goal percentage of shooters and I can't bring up the best shooter ever to compare... Aren't we making sense.

My god. Do you know what Ray Allen's eFG is? 52.9%. Do you know where Ray Allen rates in terms of offensive efficiency in points per shot ALL TIME ? No.1. MJ sits at no.10 all time. You're an MJ fanboy who thinks MJ is the best at everything, and no1. can compare but get back to reality.

MJ is not the best at everything, gasp!

  • @thiennguyenX2 because making shots isnt the only thing that makes a player efficient. That's why Ray Allen isnt considered one of the top ten of all time like MJ and KB. As far as the 3s, MJ's 3 was farther out for most of his career so there's your 2%. & how can someone who scores 5 ppg more with a 5% higher pct over 15 years not clearly be substantially more efficient? & Mj's playoff stats blows Kobe's out of the water. Remember MJ's 48ppg vs the Suns in the playoffs? Cmon man lol

  • @18brandon92 Once again, we're talking FIELD GOAL %. Remember how you were all "herp derp 50% goat"? Lets do shooting/scoring efficiency before anything else k? Don't try to bag Ray just b/c he isn't convenient.

And MJ's 3s were farther out for most of his career? LMAO. You ignoramus.

From 1994-95 to 1996-97 the NBA shortened the three point line to near the college level in an attempt to help offensive players score more. MJ's numbers skyrocketed b/c he always lacked range.

  • @18brandon92 Kobe was one of the two (along with KG) 18 year old rookies this league has ever had.

Can you look at his first 3 seasons? Oh right, mandatory benching at that time, they had no college experience and were thought to be unfit to play + Lakers already had a star guard (Van Exel). KB pioneered what LBJ then was allowed to do. Remove those outlier* seasons if you're truly interested in career performances. KB's PPG career is 28 not 25.

So ignorant of the history of this game.

  • @18brandon92 MJ in the playoffs: yep he owned. MJ > all in the playoffs.

    84-85: Blown out in 4 games, 29.3ppg

    85-86: Swept in 3, 43.7 PPG

    87-88: Swept in 3, 35.7ppg

These are his highest PPG avg. in the playoffs, but also ended in less than one series - these numbers shouldn't even count. Just as KB's first two (3) playoff seasons (on the bench) shouldn't count with only 8pts for him.

    Stats are skewed.

Even with two 8pt years, KB still has 25.4ppg to MJ's 33.4.

  • @thiennguyenX2 MJ still made more points with less shots taken & with a higher percentage than Kobe. MJ shot 54% in the Finals twice, while Kobe shot...lmao. Less MVPs, scoring titles, rings, Finals MVPs, no DPOTY's, less blocks, steals & rebounds per game, choking in game 7 vs the C's..MJ scored 63pts, 19-21fg vs Bird & the C's and STILL lost. thats the team MJ had. KB has never dominated the Finals outside of maybe the Nets? Lol the 76ers? Lol. KB's a legend, but even HE admitted he's no Mike.

  • @18brandon92 FG % does not reflect accurately how effective a player scores.

You can take 40 shots, score 40 pts, have 50% and it'd be a pretty terrible performance. 40 shots.

Kobe's points scored per shot is .98, MJ's is 1.02. So for every 100 shots, yes MJ scores 4 whole points more than KB from the field. In other words, he is barely any more effective than KB in terms of scoring from the field. This is a myth.

It is very notable that MJ has never lost a finals series.

  • @thiennguyenX2 The degree of difficulty in the shots he misses is what makes a difference. As far as effectiveness, get real. KB's off and def win shares arent on MJs level at all. LBJ is closer than KB is. Kb's the reason why the Lakers lost to the Pistons in 04 & is why they lose a lot of games that they could've won had he been more effective. Bad shot selection hurts any team exponentially & its no excuse when you've had Shaq, Gasol & Bynum. MJ isnt a god, but he was a more effective player.

  • @18brandon92 "he was a more effective player"

    Certainly true.

04' Pistons winning. Throwing in old Payton and Malone out of the blue to mess with the defense/offense - KB didn't change, the entire team dynamic did.

LBJ being closer. Meh. Statistically, sure. Lets see how he does this year, maybe when Duncan, KB, Nash, Celtics, etc. get even old(er) and retire then he'll win his string of rings. He had a sub-par run this post-season though. Gonna be a fun couple of years, these next few.

  • @18brandon92 Food for thought, Ray Allen shoots 45 FG career, eFG? 528. Better shooter than both MJ an KB. And Ray's range is much closer to KB than KB's range is to MJ. If you look at FG on range shooters like KB/RA, yeah, they do look like shit don't they?

  • @shaqpopcorn34

U kidding us right? hahahahah wtf

  • @tidslaker ....kobe=sidekick for life

  • @shaqpopcorn34 kobe sidekick? LMAO shaq is the sidekick not kobe you fool

  • @lawlessvictory ..shaq= 3 finals mvps over kobe....

    kobe= sidekick for life

  • @shaqpopcorn34 kobe winning without shaq don't matter what you say shaq remains a sidekick come down to clutch situations kobe took over no shaq of course not shaq because all you'd have to do is foul him late game and BRICK

  • @lawlessvictory ...do u remember the game the lakers win it all in 2000?....

game 6,2000 finals....lakers were down 83-79 going into the 4th...

    kobe= shot 1-8 in the 4th...shaq= shot 6-6 in the 4th....

kobe= 0 fgs in 4th quarter or overtime in game 7 vs 2002 kings

check the footage "shaquille oneal gamewinner"...thats game 1 vs rockets in 2004...kobe airball that shaq caught and dunked...2010 playoffs...kobe 0-2 on gamewinners..saved by gasol and artest both times...

    kobe=sidekick for life

  • @shaqpopcorn34 and do u remember when shaq fouled out of the game?2000 finals..kobe took over..and the 2 important plays in th game 7 against protland?lol..how about kobe carrying the lakers in the whole 2001 playoffs..lol

  • @shaqpopcorn34 1 kobe has supassed shaq in rings, points, nd playoff points the three things shaq had/did best 2 if kobe was a sidekick 4 life who lead la in 05-07 nd in highschool or even 08-10 it sure as hell wasent pau 2 shaq has to have a great SG to win a ring XD shaq=sidekick for life

  • @shaqpopcorn34 you're nitpicking . Kobe closed most games during the Shaq era & the Lakers of today wouldnt be in there position w/ out Kobe leading the team . remember when Shaq fouled out against the Pacers ? Remember game 7 vs Portland ? Go look at Kobe's avg's against the Kings in '02 . I know Kobe's legacy is a lil blown up at times, but you're just hating .

  • @18brandon92 Don't bother arguing with this idiot. He's been trolling Kobe videos for years. He has no life.

  • @IfImBeingHonest Yeah, I've begun to notice that .

  • @shaqpopcorn34 shaq just rides players and teams...kobe, wade, lebron, now trying to bum a ring off the celtics hahahahahahhahhaha

  • @shaqpopcorn34 man shaq popcorn you too stubborn just pointing out or nitpicking i should say a few games but not looking at the overall picture of this i don't know if i can go on with this argument bro

  • Kobe could easily have 40+ 50 point games in his archives... plenty more 40 point games too... if he decided to go with the stats rather than the rings

  • God if only we could have kept a shot from going in for 6 more seconds!

  • i hate this game. if only odom got the rebound, a hallway series would've happened.

  • @isaiahcruz not only that man, but the potential to eventually be a Lakers-Heat finals against Shaq! They couldve beaten the clippers and the mavs. Hell, Kobe beat the mavs by himself that same season. Fuck...lol

  • @ElBrillante4 totally agree. i kinda knew the series was over after this game. game 7 was just a mere formality. oh well it turned me into a clippers fan for two weeks and they also took them to 7. phoenix must've been sick of seeing staples center :))

  • dam 6 seconds left we almost advance to face the clippers but kwame brown can't grab a damn rebound

  • .......Michael Jordan and Alvin Gentry said Kobe over Lebrick, Kobe is the best in the NBA TODAY.

Wade is not even in the consideration.

Do you think you know more about basketball than these two above gentlemen, Kiddo??

    LMAO.......

  • @noformstyle Don't say Wade is out of the consideration he actually has a ring like Kobe. I'm a Kobe fan but don't take Wade out of the equation.

  • its a gud thing that they took the suns to 7th game here..that is suprisingly for the lakers, especially with this line up..

  • how can people talk shit about Kobe on HIS video? How many rings does the man have to get before he gets some respect? Is 5 really not enough? I read somewhere that said "When leBron gets 1 he can be compared to Kobe."

Really now? Think about winning the finals 5 times!!! That's unheard of! Not to MJ or Phil but come on...

  • Man. This game must have hurt him so much. And then in gave 7 he does he complete opposite and still lose. It not the offense. It was the defense. The just couldn't stop the suns.

  • still gut wrenching to watch after 4 years and 2 championships later

  • kobe bryant deserved the mvp title that year

  • Well it took 10 yrs for kobe to finally get a 50pt Playoff game..

To bad it was against one of the worse Deffensive teams in the NBA.

hes no Jordan but hes good

  • @cespin3823 if thats true how come other people dont your so stupid when you say kobe scores 50 against shit teams then how come no one has outscored a team or score 50+ in 4 straight games or score 81 against crappy defense team your stupid thats cuz no player works as hard as kobe look at lebron he doesnt even have a jump shot kobe has his since he was 23 dont believe me look at season where he scored 40+ 9 straight times

  • @cespin3823 ur right he is no jordan hes better

  • @thug8200 LMAO! No he's not. Jordan was clearly better. This is kobe's only 50+ pt game in the playoffs....ever. It came in OT, against bad defense, with Raja Bell out. With Raja playing, Kobe couldn't even score 30. Jordan has 8 career playoff 50+ pt games, twice what anyone else in history has, with multiple games against the #1 defense in the league. Educate yourself.

  • @utfanatic2000 mj is gone long gone get a life its kobes world and kobe is fare more skilled ask phil jackson

  • @thug8200 Actually MJ is still around...and will be a long time. He's the star of NBA2K11, on the commercials, and on the cover. He owns a team. He's the GOAT. Ask Phil, who just said at MJ's HOF ceremony that nobody will ever be better. :) OWNED.

  • @utfanatic2000 i just realized this was ultrafanboy i dont conversate with people have no logic

  • @thug8200 You don't converse with people who OWN you with FACTS and TRUTH.

  • @utfanatic2000 nah u have never owned me

  • @thug8200 I just did. You said, "Ask Phil Jackson". Phil just said, at MJ's HOF ceremony, that nobody would ever be better than MJ.

  • @utfanatic2000 Funny how Kobe stans say Kobes the greatest of all time but as soon as you correct them they say "stop living in the past" but if im not mistaken if youre talking in terms of all time you have to use all the information available am I right?Lmao!

  • @cespin3823 Yeah, cause you know, someone drops 50+ on Phoenix in every single playoff series they play in right? It's so easy to drop 50+ on Phoenix, everyone can do it....

    please...

  • how the fuck do you let a team score 15 in overtime.... thats 15 in 5 minutes.... convert that to a full game thats 142 points in a game

  • LOL, did you catch that? the reason we didnt advance... 2:08 - 2:10

    Kobe > Lebron. PERIOD!!!!

  • DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN THAT WAS SOOOO FUKIN CLOSE UP BY 3 WIT 10 SECS LEFT KOBE MUSTA BEEN SOOO CHOKED

  • Even though the lakers whooped them this year...watching this still hurts

  • Wow superfans, for a fan of Kobe you sure are ignorant. In 04-05, the year after Shaq left, Kobe was 3rd team all nba....read carefully kid....3rd team all nba, and failed to make the playoffs. Kobe failed to make 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team all nba his first couple years. Looks like YOU are the dumbass kid.

  • @utfanatic2000 im sorry kobe is the best nobodie has the weapons he has and nobodies does what he does if ur a lebron fan stats dont tell the player kobes or wades are iight but their crazy for example but if ur a wade fan then ur good but remember kobe is the best because of his personality(fearless) and clutch the clutch lay up then game winner in game 4 then this he has done this so many times this guys skill level cannot be explained and he is on a whole different world in a distant galaxy

  • @rareezy24 What are you talking about "nobody has the weapons he has"? Of course they do. Kobe has yet to even shoot 47% for a single season. And he is overrated in the clutch: 38% career shooting in game 7s, 28% in the 4th quarter of the 2010 finals. Missed 54 career game winners. He is great, but don't overrate him just bc you like his style.

  • @utfanatic2000 i see u rely on stats but does anybodie else have higher than kobe in FG and relies on a jumpshot like he does and has anybodie else closed as many games as him, not many and r those who do better than him by overall no dont hate and call him overated who u like lebron & wade yeah i think their jumpshot is better than kobes jordan had a game 7 6-19 everybodie uses 2010 finals against him dis year was not good i admit but anyway whos complete like kobe a piece of paper does nt tel

  • @rareezy24 Why does Kobe "have" to rely on a jumpshot? Wade and Lebron get to the rim any time they want. The point is to put the ball in the hoop, not to shoot from outside. Bird shot far better than Kobe. So did Reggie Miller. So does Ray Allen. So did many players who rely on jumpers. Nash. Stockton. Don't overrate Kobe. FYI, I don't like Lebron. Jordan's WORST finals FG% is 41.5%, which is higher than Kobe's career finals FG% AVERAGE of 41%. MJ's finals FG% average is 48.2%.

  • @utfanatic2000 im asking if those who have a better jumper have a good complete offense like kobe and put up as many points as him every night i dont care bout jordan the G.O.A.T. means G.O.A.T. the last time i checked and did i say he had the best jumper in the world?no i did not i am not overrating hes the best in the leaque ask ur favorite player jordan and i would like to say stats dont draw the whole picture of a player

  • @rareezy24 So you are talking about being a great player who relies on his jumper? That would be Bird, Allen, Nash, Stockton, Reggie Miller, many others. They all shoot/shot much better than Kobe. Jordan also relied on his jumper after his first retirement and shot better than Kobe. Kobe is a good shooter with poor to average shot selection. Great volume scorer and great o.verall player

  • @utfanatic2000 who is your favorite player im guessing jordan by your page and i like kobe cuz of the complete offense and the ish he does and also nash cuz of his shot and passes he is like the definition of a point guard and i favor kobe cuz of his complete offense but i do agree he does take stupid shots but makes sum of them not that many and bird and jordan r my all time favorites 2 talk about shot crazy but my opinion kobe is still the man of this era

  • @rareezy24 All time? Jordan, but I love a lot of players. Current favorite may be DWade. There are very few complete players left in the game. I'm a big fan of Nash. Loved Olajuwon, Magic, Bird, loved Barkley, he wore his heart on his sleeve. You seem like you appreciate complete players for sure since Bird and Jordan are your 2 favorites. I know Kobe is great man, I just wish people would stop comparing him to the GOAT, Jordan. Just silly.

  • @utfanatic2000 yeah i agree kobes nasty but jordans name should not be mentioned next to any bodies name he stands alone i watch kobe and wade 2 cuz they r amazing to watch wade crossing and driving on ppl like stupid and kobe making shots where u jus shake ur head and especially when hes mad my twin likes wade i like kobe wont kno who 2 watch after their gone hopefully lebron gets his 1st ring so ppl can stop putin it against him i wonder which will be mvp wade or lebron da nxt duo of da decade

  • @rareezy24 wade wil b the main scorer. and lebron will b helping wade get a ring not the other way around.

  • @jgerundo24 u cant say who will be the main scorer wade will be crown and fan favorite we know that but lebron and wade are equal as scorers and wade for finals MVP but thats only after kobe retires then wade and lebron can get theirs until then its big homie kobe time going for that 6th ring wit the lakers gasol for his 3rd but wade will get MVP cuz he basically is MIAMI no matter what lebron does their loyal to wade

  • Hag, Kobe has been the "best player for years" based on what? Stats? Rings? He was third team all nba and failed to make the playoffs in 04-05. He was clearly not the best player in the league then.

  • @utfanatic2000 youy dumbass, he's the nba 1st team, with 2nd team in early years and never being in the 3rd. Check stats before speaking nonsense.

  • @utfanatic2000 kobe has been the best player for a number of years its just that his team sucked for the most part of it

  • Man if only the Lakers won this game they wouldve went on to beat the Clippers in the 2nd round and face the Mavs in the WCF

  • All you kids can talk shit about kobe all you want. It's pretty tough to take a team to the playoffs when your go to guys are Odom and Walton. Kobe's that great. Nuff Said

  • kwame Brown fucked up this series! they were about to win til he let Tim Thomas have an open 3!

  • Its funny how Kobe has been the best overall player since 2001 "Shaq even says it in 2001, 09 etc..." and the Nba keeps giving Lebron MVP'S and to Kobe's 1. When this year 2006, 03 were his best stats. But Lebron can have the reg season MVP's Kobe can have the rings and the Nba Finals MVP'S!

  • @blazea No, Kobe has not been the best player since 01. He missed the playoffs in 05 and was 3rd team all nba. That's not best in the league.

  • @utfanatic2000 Kobe missed over 20 games in 2005 with an ankle injury and that's why they missed the playoffs. He got 3rd team all nba becuase the injury slowed him down. Check your facts before talking shit.

  • @z4ng3tsu1ch1g0 Hey man. The Lakers finished 11 games back of #8 Memphis in 05, with Kobe missing 16 games. Even if he had played every game, the Lakers would have had to miraculously go 11-5 in those games just to have a shot at making the playoffs. Lakers finished at 34-48. And, of course, with a losing records, an injury, and nothing else going for him, Kobe was 3rd team all nba, and far from the best player in the league that season.

  • @utfanatic2000 and yet in 06 he was far away the best in the league. We all know what happened that year.

  • @fmcneillii No, Kobe was not "far and away" the best player in 06. Many perimeter players had great seasons that year, mainly because that was the first year perimeter handchecking was completely banned. LBJ, Wade, Nash, Kobe.

  • @utfanatic2000 did you miss the 03 season? the 06,07,08,09 seasons? Where you been bro? cuz hes won two scoring titles two nba titles and 3 mvps (1 reg, 2 finals). That looks like best player in the league material.

  • @fmcneillii So winning titles and mvps make you the best player in the league? Then Duncan was the best player for much of the 2000s. Shaq was the best the early part of the decade. That would mean Kobe has only been the best player for the last couple years.

  • 7:23 killed the entire staples center

  • damn lakers lost to the series.. it was 3-1 to lakers but suns have managed to come back and win the seroes 4-3...

  • wow that buzzer beater was insane

  • this shit gives me tears in my eyes...remember game 5 when lakers were up 3 points with about 20 seconds left ...then suns shot a 3 and missed got the offensive rebound....shot again ...again missed..AGAIN GOT THE OFFENSIVE REBOUND!!!!....shot and made it ..they went on to win in OT and won the series

  • @socool34534 the inexperienced laker team didnt know how to box out. thats y.

  • when you score 50 points in one game all on your own and your team STILL manages to lose, that really says something. hahahaha :)

  • Fucking Tim Thomas !!

    Ruined everything !!

Oh well the suns had their run, now it's our turn lakers THREEPEAT !!!

  • that shot at 2:20 is just raw...too bad he didnt have gasol back in 05-06 he would of had like 6 rings by now

  • so many crazy shots in that game the half court buzzer beater the bank in 3 in ot. Kobe is godly

  • I still blame Kwame Brown =/

  • i think everyone does Lol

  • lebron could not have hit those clutch shots kobe made in this game... :)

  • @Lakers24pwnz le bron cant even spit shine kobes fucking shoes.

  • @Lakers24pwnz i had a lebron fan tell me that lebron is more clutch than kobe. LOL?

  • @RobCar8

It's obvious Lebron isn't... Lebron hasn't done anything clutch lately this season... They lost a ton of games because of Lebron's lack of clutchness... Then they give it to Wade and they start getting points down the stretch... Lebron's nothing

  • @Lakers24pwnz couldnt agree more

  • i wish this kobe had a good supporting cast he was unstoppable this season but he had no help similar to lebron before this year

  • to this day i hate watching this series!!

those scrubs we had couldn't close out on tim thomas?!?!

    wtf

  • @disstancebeast this was a while be4 the 08/09 season duh man u think u know it all lol but u dont know shit about basketball obviously

  • uh he has 4 rings idiot.

  • @espargiliere

lebron james averaged what? 45 point triple doubles in the orlando-cleveland series???? lost i think all of the games where he had those monster games

  • @Lakers24pwnz Yea Bron had huge numbers but he couldn't closeout in 4 of the 6 games. He was bad in crunch time especially game 4.

  • DAMN! Good old Staples Center was actually louder then when we were a 7th seed team as opposed to now where we are the reigning champs! GO figure U'd think we'd have a better crowd now LMAO

  • Damn, almost four years and it's still sooo hard to watch.

  • i know i would have loved 2 c kobe advance and see how far he would have led the lakers but phoniex suns were good back den but revenge is a bitch , look at the lakers now where the best team in the world and the suns aint as relevent

  • If odom boxes out the lakers win. if smush closes out on tim thomas like your supposed to the lakers still probably win.

  • Who can't take a championship without shaq?Maybe is Wade kobe the most intense player to ever play the game.Lakers back to back love from greece

  • "Who better Kobe?" - says Amare

"Kobe is best forever" - says Nash!)

  • WOW Jack freakin made them lose...

  • Too bad Kobe was surrounded by wack players... I mean c'mon

    Smush

    Kwame

    Mihm

    Cook

These guys played 30+ minutes. Some of the worst players I've ever seen on a Laker team!

  • @pennywisem22 Aside from Kobe, Lamar was the only guy you can trust in that season
