I was very upset over the loss of Kelly Groucutt. Been a Fan of E.L.O since i was 6! Now i am 36 and still love the sound of E.L.O. Really do Miss Kelly, and this is a fantastic tribute to a great and talented man.
I think, in my early 20's, I helped build a tennis court at Kelly's Warwickshire home? Its a very vague memory... never met the man though. RIP thanks for the fantastic music..
I met Kelly for the first time properly at the London Gig last year and he was such a humble and kind man, and we talked about him doing music on one of my films - sadly it was not to be. The contribution his music made to my life cannot even be quantified. I remember seeing this tribute and harriet and I were in fact crying merely rows away from each other. He will never be forgotten. The are touring now and are still SUPERB, miss at your peril!!!
i only learned about his death here. it was not in any newspaper or on the web. it's sad not to be acknowledged by any media as this group was very famous. i would never have known this if i didn't come to youtube.
Why was this not in the UK press? I have only just heard about this and I am shocked! I met Kelly after an ELO 2 concert in Dartmouth, and I was shocked to see what lovely man he was, He spent 20 minutes chatting to me and my wife signing photos and letting us take pictures, I am truly gutted at this news.
Back in 94 ' they came to Seattle ( Elo part 2) and I took a bunch of pictures of them. Kelly told me I had a beautiful smile ! It makes me sad to know that he's gone. I miss him dearly .. Thank you , Kelly for picking me out of the crowd. RIP my friend..
well done! brilliant musician and a big part of my life in what I do in music. Keep on rockin Kelly, the angels will love your harmonies. x from Lester

Very nice indeed.
I saw him in concert last October and he was full of beans and enjoying the whole thing.
Kelly loved playing to his audience which is something Jeff Lynne never seemed to like.
Nice tribute to a very nice chap.
