you talk about eating 3000cals/day and your not fat, but what knid of workout do you do? i dont think anyone can eat 3000cal/day without a workout plan!
Seems like shes on the right path. How can she be wrong when she looks that good at 31...You can rage at her all you want, but LOOK AT HER....MMmmm Thanks for the tips.
Stop spreading misinformation. Fats don't make you fat. Fat is broken down in the body as glycerol and free fatty acids. The glycerol can then be converted into glucose by the liver. You say yourself you eat as many nuts and seeds as you desire (nuts being around 50% fat), and yet you continue to bash fat and encourage people to steer away from ALL fats. you're as bad as the mass-marketed fad diets preaching extremism. Encourage balance, not extremism
Or couldn't you rather than just restricting calories reduce your micro nutrients from a high fat high carb diet to a low carb low fat diet? Simple as that.
I started eating lfrv and I'm having a hard time getting all the calories in.It's like my body doesn't want to drink water or eat. I even blended some fruit and couldn't get down. I don't want to starve myself. I'm gonna stick with it though! I"ll get it down eventually.
@KakaiLokai Yeah.. When you say its over, does it really mean over? hehe.. I think for me not.. I take it as my daily routine so my body could be more flexible and thinner.. I got these diet solution from the site WeightLossAction.Info.. They have these amazing diet methods and programs.. that's the reason why I still maintain my body to look fit and healthy :)
I stopped watching after about 30 seconds. You dont have to worry as much about calorie restriction or calorie counting on a raw vegan diet because fruits and vegetables are generally more filling, super low calorie, and have more volume. You might have to consume 10 pieces of fruit in order to equal about 8 ounces of beef with no bread, topping, side or anything on it. It will take you a lot longer to eat 10 pieces of fruit than 1 serving of beef.
@avittix Not to mention its a lot more expensive and if your looking to build muscle, something that this girl and the other guy don't have any of then you will need more than 5-10% of your calories from protein. I'm sure that going vegan can be a healthy diet but its not suited for everyones needs. Your body actually needs protein more than it needs carbohydrates in order to survive and maintain/build muscle. Hence why some people can go on keto diets and maintain muscle though dont recomm..
I weigh 70kg and eat arround 1kg of rice a day that is about 3700calories and 770gs of carbs I also eat 5 bananas and some apples and some greens but I can't put on weight or muscles
I fitness alot and ride my bike to school 4 times a week (120km a week)
but you dont seem to have alot of muscle.. you look alittle fragile. I find that so weird since you eat alot and everything. But how can you grow your muscle with so little protein?
Hi Freelee! I think this is my favorite video of yours...it says SOOO much and speaks to me on so many levels. Love ya much - grateful for all you do in this world!!
This really makes me think: living is pretty calorie demanding, what with the moving, thinking and especially organ function. No wonder you can't get fat from carbs. This makes more sense to me everyday!
@Sacredtrance About the same time it took her to run a sub 21-5k. Freelee wanted faster results so she focus on building her V02 max over the last 4 years. Ive been building mine since 96. Lance Armstrong since 86.
@durianriders Hi - I have been restricting between 1000-1600 for 3 years. I am 175cm, 60kg. Started following 811 for a week. I am already noticing weight gain. Already working on increasing my VO2 through running. What is a reasonable amount of time to get rid of the water weight? -- you prolly heard this a lot but really, thank you for all that you do.
Wonderful information, Freelee. Your transformation is incredible and you are LIVING PROOF that this way of eating is optimal. Thank you for the inspiration and for spreading the truth. It really is so simple - it's all the lies and greedy people looking to make money off of people that spread so much disinfo and make everyone so confused. Lots of thanks to you and Harley for the great work you do.
I just watch the documentary 'Earthlings' and am now considering veganism for the first time, my only concern is I want to keep a high level of protein in my diet, is it possible to consume 160 grams or more of protein a day in a vegan diet? Really appreciate any info you have on this.
@CoachFrank203 Coach Frank you're gonna kill yourself with all that protein. Remember the Atkins diet? Dr Atkins is dead. His heart exploded splattering sausage and bacon all over his poor wife and kids. Leave the paleo diet to extinct neanderthals and drop the protein myth. Your body will thank you ;)
@CoachFrank203 That's way too much protein to have in a day. You will be relying on stimulants for the rest of your life, your digestion will be so bad. Go to cronometer(dot)com and experiment with different meal plans. I use it all the time; it's a great tool to estimate your daily intakes.
If you insist on having a high protein intake, you can add more nuts/seeds to your diet, spinach as well; or you can add protein powders, though I'd strongly discourage that option.
@CoachFrank203 No problemo. Allow me to also recommend Dr. William Harris (of Hawaii) to you. He has a few lectures on youtube, all about an hour long, but very VERY informative. He's an 80+ year old retired doctor. He's been vegan for nearly 50 years and still skydives, rope climbs, and does double flips on trampolines. You can also shoot him an e-mail with any questions you have by visiting his website: vegsource(dot)com/harris. He'll advise you, free of charge. A really great guy.
A high-plant based-protein diet is possible. Robert Cheeke, a vegan bodybuilder, has a book on Vegan Bodybuilding and a website, hope it helps. I enjoy nuts and seeds, legumes, protein powders and many other sources of protein. Just keep the calories up.

>veganism
>let's disregard entire food groups that humans have evolved to eat
>let's cut all of the complete proteins out of our diets and only get protein from mediocre sources like legumes and grains
>let's cut down on dietary fat too, since HURR FAT MAKES YOU FAT
Do you even lift?
