@SandiTrazzare funny how mick has never changed, still mugs for the camera in his unique way, he was the ultimate front man at that time, only Jim Morrison compares but unfortunately he was too stoned or drunk most of the time
Their appearance on Shindig in 1965 playing Around and Around, Little Red Rooster, Play With Fire, The Last Time and the rejected first version performance of Satisfaction is one of my all time favorite Stones performances. They look so cool doing Satisfaction.
Everyone thought it said .. well im driving round the world and im doin this an im doin that and im tryin to make some girl PREGNANT..we used to play the 45 slow and could swear thats what it said.I was blown away when i just saw this video and it was bleeped out..times sure have changed, but not for the better, back then, having fun wasnt against the law.
He has great stories about working with ths Rolling Stones on this show. Nice to see this. I originally thought that this was from a show he did in Australia. Now I know it could only be Shingig. Very cool.
So nice to see Jimmie Rodgers. I always liked Sweeter Than Wine even though I was only a first grader when it was released. Funny how those songs can stay with you for 50 years!
