one in the same. Their hits were acoustic ballads (which were outstanding) but they're a funk-metal band. Check out some of their other stuff like "decadence dance" "warheads" "its a monster" "play with me" "hip today" "run" and "star" to get a more complete picture. They're fantastic! Also, both "Ghost" and "Interface" from their new album, saudades de rock are ballad-ish and are, as always, impecably done and sound outstanding.
