@pounder2day I didnt say i didnt like it. I'm just sayin, her hair does look like a bird nest.. sorry, but it does. If someone's hair looked like dog fur than say it looks like dog fur. who cares. not everything is about race these days. I prefer "natural" hair on black people most of the time anyway.. birds nest or not. and for the record, If i grew out my hair that long, it would look almost exactly like that, and I'm white so go figure.

This is the best I've ever heard her play happy fly live. Every other time is simply ok, this performance is PERFECT!!! Especially the ending! Call me crazy, but I consider this performance of "happy fly" to actually be better than the one on the actual record.

the way her hands move along the fret of the bass is so intriguing.

her persona she fits into during performances is overall supremely interesting, and if she is the one who single-handedly composed these songs then i believe this newcomer is definitely deserving of her Grammy. i'm glad the academy isn't catering so much to the public anymore.
