  • I need to learn to go to Christ for Christ... Not for my benefit...

  • there is no such thing as prosperity gospel, there is only one Gospel which is the Good News that Jesus died for our sins and was resurrected so we can get right with God. when u accept this like matt 6:33 everything else will given unto you

  • @MrArpas123 Christian Reformed teaching also uses 1 John extensively warning believers to 'test themselves and see whether or not they are in the faith'. I may be misunderstanding the premise of your argument, but are you saying continued justification is based on works? I stand by Romans 6 where we are given the argument, how shall we who died to sin still live in it? God has regenerated our hearts so we want to follow Him and perform act of faith.

  • @MrArpas123 I'm not sure about what this Calvinism is you talk about but the Heidelberg Catechism constantly points out that if God has indeed delivered you from death into life, you will live a life in accordance to scripture. Key Reformed teaching in its essence states that the works performed are evidence of Salvation.

  • @MrArpas123 when has washer spoken against this? thats exactly what he says. if your faith is not one of obedience like abraham, you will die. you have not a faith like abraham. you have not salvation. but also my friend, you cannot confuse prosperity and salvation. salvation is true prosperity. and prosperity is salvation. when it is speaking about spiritual "water" and things of this nature. it is not monetary. it is spiritual. Jesus is prosperity. he is the living water.

  • Washer is seriously confused.

  • Paul Washer is preaching a high falutin psychological Jesus.

Jesus emphasized His works of love:

Jhn 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. Jhn 10:26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

But Paul Washer believes not the loving works! So he preaches a psychological gnostic Jesus against "streets of gold." Jesus does not want us to love him for psychological reasons.

  • Boring...........

  • I wish there were more people that understood the Bible correctly or at least take it seriously. America is in great need of a revival.

  • @TheTannerdh18 i understand that it is a hilarious work of fiction. we need no revival.

  • there is a balance in truth, these two teachings are too th extreme. The Bible doesnt contradict teachings. Jesus and the Holy Spirit spoke according to the situation.

  • a cheap gospel leads to the prosperity gospel

  • @andrewwk6 ::: "Prosperity gospel" is not cheap. It requires you to change your thinking, Proverbs 23:7. Do you have the understanding needed to accomplish this?

  • @k0smon do you get my point when i say prosperity and cheap gospel? i say that is cheap because is full of false teachings., claiming that u should believe in God or go to a church just for economic purposes and that God is powerful to make ur life the best thing ever and whatever other crap...

  • @andrewwk6 ::: I don't think you have a point. There is nothing false about these teachings. They work and are in line with Proverbs 23:7. You don't go to church 'just for economic purposes' , you go for spiritual purposes. You bet God is powerful to make your life the best thing ever. The 'crap' is your failure to understand the spirituality behind these teachings and see how they work. Ask someone in their congregation if they are being spiritually fed or not.

  • There are mormon ads on anything spiritual on youtube, bc they spend so many advertising dollars. I have noticed this for about a year now. And its that same ad with the girl, usually, saying...and I'm a Mormon...

  • There are mormon ads on anything spiritual on youtube, bc they spend so many advertising dollars. I have noticed this for about a year now.

  • There was a mormon commercial on this christian video lol.

  • How are the adverts for Mormonism being added to your videos Lane?

  • "For the kingdom of God is not meat & drink; but righteousness,& peace,& joy in the Holy Ghost."For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life & peace.Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be....

  • To @igldepo333 wasn't the fact of seing Jesus as the chosen one, before anyone a miracle?

  • Osteen , a "church" the size of a shopping mall, lives in a mansion, a private jet, doesn't have a lot to say about God!

J Osteen ,John Francis, Benny Hinn, creflo dollar, Don Stewart , P.Popoff, con men.

Osteen, a motivational speaker. not a man of God. a false prophet if you will.

Its scary , people who believe in Christianity feel the need to buy their way in. These men are frauds. it's a sign of R time.TV, love of $, little Biblical teaching = con man Osteen!

  • @onstageagain ::: Has it ever occurred to you that the reason these preachers have large congregations is because they meet the spiritual needs of their congregations? Sounds like you are very jealous of Osteen.

God knows whether these preachers are pleasing to Him or not. You don't. Are you put yourself on a pedestal and claiming to be at the right hand of God, and that is why you come here to make these pronouncements? A big dose of humility would profit you greatly. Ask for forgiveness.

  • @k0smon Has is occurred to U a pastor has a responsibility & it is not reaching sprirtual needs . The bible clearly outlines the job of a Pastor. If U read the word of God, instead of leaving it to a preacher .U would never say such as this. God gave instructions Ever read them? U should! What s a Preacher "A" The preacher is has duty within the church - Ephesians 4:11-13. 1.Notice, the preacher serves the local church, with elders & teachers, to equip the saints for service !

  • @onstageagain 2.The notion a preacher’s duty is to reach the spiritual needs R false ! A, In Titus 2:1, Paul tells the preacher Titus to speak sound doctrine, & lists the things he is to tell. They all involve members of the church. B-Titus 3:8 - Speak confidently so believers R careful to engage in good deeds. 3. Preachers R also to reach those who R lost - Rom 10:14-15

The Purpose of Preaching A. To Explain the Scriptures 1. many forget about the need.

  • @onstageagain If U don't know the Word" olsteen admits he doesn't" how can U explain or teach it? In Stephen’s sermon (Acts 7 His audience knew the passagesl.

Stephen explained what it meant ,how they applied to them. A man asked him about a passage he was reading (Acts 8:34). Philip then explained the Scripture . Hold up the Scriptures as a guiding light 1.Men of God simply proclaimed God’s message to mankind. I Cor 2:6-13 - Teachers present God’s revealed message.

  • @k0smon Unless someone is blunt, a man may never know his condition. They may never cry out, “What must I do to be saved?” Some preachers neglect their duty to teach the whole gospel, leaving their audience with messages that only make them feel good. Notice Paul’s instruction to Titus - 2:15 Exhort - To invite others to hear. A preacher’s goal is to persuade men with truth.Rebuke - To tell others their fault. A preacher is not doing his job unless he steps on Ur toes @times.

  • @k0smon Its not based on a feel good message, but the authority of God.

Don't be surprised, some will not like to be rebuked & will object to the solid presentation, that does not change the preacher’s duty. Present Christ as the only hope . The first thing Paul did in each city was to lift up Christ & declare him to be their only hope. I Cor 2:2 - He kept his message simple & direct.

Salvation dosn't t come from preaching politics or moral platitudes, R only hope is in heaven.

  • @k0smon U claim I'm jealous of Olsteen, Jealous of what? I live in Newport Beach, Ca. I can see Catalina Ca, on a clear day from my 12 ft long window about a mile from the beach. I'm blessed with good health, employment, family. Forgiveness of what? I'm a sinner, I ask forgiveness daily. However, the Lord gave specific instructions on what a leaders responsibilities R. Olsteen could not answer basic questions of callers on how to get to heaven. If my leader couldn't , I'd find a new one.

  • @onstageagain ::: Osteen does have a lot to say about God. God gets all the credit for prosperity. After all, He is the Source of all things. You sound jealous. Osteen is a man of God, it just irks you to see that. He cannot be a false prophet since he does not prophesy. No Christian buys their way in, salvation is free. Osteen does not con anyone. He does not promise riches, he teaches how to be in God's favor.

  • who HE IS

  • Good message from Paul Washer

  • the gospel of the kingdom is to restore Man back to Gods original plan.

God's plan has never changed, that is Man having fellowship with God and share in His divine nature and to bring His kingdom of heaven to all His creation through Man. Believers are all called to advance His kingdom, not just to make people go to church and make bad people good and religious but to encourage and empower everyone.set aside doctrines and start loving and giving, God bless you.

  • What makes us VILE and WIcked is our comparison to a HOLY and Righteous GOD. He is Holy, He is without spot or blemish and compared to Him, everything we are, everything we do, all our charity, all our goodness, all our acts, even the best, are filthy rags. For how can we ever attempt to go before Him and say, see im not all bad. Our judgement isnt based on how good we are compared to others, but compared to Him. And compared to Him, even mother Theresa is unclean.

  • He lost me with the "he is speaking to a vile and wicked nation" ... does a lack of understanding make us vile and wicked? God bless Mr. Washer but people who believe in Jesus do not have an exclusive on G-d's ever-lasting love and goodness.

  • @revbates God is loving and merciful however God killed Israelites He had promised a land full of honey because they were no longer listened to Him. Dont confuse issues. God loves them who seek Him and seek to walk in His ways but promises to send to Hell them who refuse to hear His word. The charismatic movement is sending most of people to Hell, read your bible and know what God promises on who will enter His Kingdom

  • i finally found a pastor who has some life to his preaching

  • the gospel that Jesus preached and taught his disciples is about the Kingdom of God.Same gospel He commanded to be preach.Mat 24:14This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached.Mat 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness..Jesus preached not just about Himself but more about HisKingdom and kingdom being brought here to earth with power.Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven

  • This message was very much reformed. As for some comments, people dont have the ability to come to Christ unless the father first draw him.

  • I just want to share the fact that Jesus gave us the keys to His kingdom. He gave "Keys".

Everyone does not have the same locks; in other words I'm saying get to Jesus and seek His kingdom first then everything else shall come. Jesus=wholeness

  • I don't hold to prosperity teaching. I just made a comment about Mr. Washer's theology...which I have the right to do in this forum. Thanks for your loving Christlike response!

  • Hypercalvinism...Washer is a prime example of imbalnced views of scripture.

  • @jln55 If Paul W. would be a hypercalvinist then he wouldn't even bother preaching. Washer is one of the few true preachers of the Word of God. Go and listen to Joel Osteen deceitful teachings if you hate the truth. Go have your prosperity, your health and your wealth if that is which satisfies you, but I tell one thing, you'll reach your death bed and WISH you could just have another life to live not for that which perishes, but for the only one who is worth living for: Jesus Christ. GBU

  • @jln55 While I personally have my opinions about Calvinism, this sermon is not about that. This is actually a really good message, and a surprising one from a Reformed preacher!

  • Around 3:50, he should be careful to note that the whole Charismatic movement is not into the so-called 'prosperity gospel.'

  • @SaudaraLink From my perspective in the black church, charismatic - prosperity teachings were a 50/50 miss in most churches. That was when it was accepted and popular. Now that the prosperity message has a backlash to it, alot of preachers have toned that message down

  • @FitnessMinded Thanks for the comment. Btw, what do you mean by 'a 50/50 miss'?

  • @SaudaraLink initially i made a mistake in saying "miss". But actually I guess it would be correct because the charisma was fuel for the prosperity / give me money message. But what I mean to say was "prosperity teachings were about a 50/50 thing in most churches I attended"

  • God keeps blessing pastor Washer. We have so little preachers, that can teach the true gospel of God....

  • salvation is not limited to some, but to all who repent and believe in Jesus Christ. Also, we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. if you think that atonement is limited then you are wrong. You are wrong when you say " Atonement and forgiveness is for some." Why would Christ die such a horrible death for some? He died for all humanity. Not just so that the "elect" may go to heaven. God can save anyone. lets seek Christ. not "who's right or wrong."

  • JPreachHTK..i dont have to pretend...i know what the scriptures say..GOD is ALL KNOWING..that means HE knows who is in the book of LIFE?.....do u agree?..if not refute it......He knows,WE dont...so we preach to everyman..thats in line w GOD`s WORD...

  • THEHROFTIME..since God is ALL knowing..Dont u think HE knows who is in the book of life?...and since we dont..we preach to all men..hoping that they are sheep.....if someone believes there are the elect..then preaching to everyman doesnt change..cause we dont know who the elect are...this is not an issue to divide over..either way u look at it..God knows who will respond to HIS gospel...meaning the names in the book of life are there...HE chooses us,we dont choose HIM...Romans 9 says it all

  • @Goodlife51 you are pretending to understand God and things of an eternal nature.

  • @THEHRHOFTIME - calling people to come to Jesus is not contrary to limited atonement or unconditional election. Jesus said "NO ONE can come to me unless my father draw him" Jesus also said "EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE that the father has given me will come to me" BUT Jesus commanded his disciples "GO and make disciples of all nations" the disciples didn't say nah sure everyone who is going to come will come anyway so why bother!

  • this doesn't sound like a limited atonement Gospel... This is Awesome..

  • @THEHRHOFTIME I don't think you have a correct definition of limited atonement...

  • @Rhuanjl Huh? This doesn't sound like your typical Calvinist message. Is that better?

  • @THEHRHOFTIME This is 100% calvinist...

  • @Rhuanjl This is not calvinism....calvinests believe Jesus only died for the elect, and not the whole world. (everyone).

  • @familyguybro78 Calvinists believe in salvation by grace alone. A free gift given to those who don't deserve it and are rebels against God, a free gift therefore given to those who don't want it. (try reading romans 3 to see the idea of people not wanting it) And so whilst salvation is offerred to all, only through a miraculous work of God in a man's heart will anyone actually turn. So in a way Jesus' death was only intended for those whose hearts God would work in yes, but that's not the start.

  • @familyguybro78 100% correct...

  • @familyguybro78 ALL are chosen. Those who ANSWER [accept] are saved.

  • @kelkiewyn But read John 6:66-end of chapter, Jesus rejects Peter saying that they chose him. God choses his elect.

  • @Reapster04 Thanks for your comment. I hear what you're saying... I have had my doubts about the "all chosen" also. The symbol of the Bridegroom on the other hand, means that Jesus chooses His Bride from amongs all the others... so in this sense one can say that we are pre-elected. [Think of a young man who falls in love with one girl out of all the others... and he chooses her out from amongst them to be his bride.]

  • @THEHRHOFTIME How many calvinist preachers have you listened to?

  • @Rhuanjl Calvinist don't believe salvation is for everyone. They believe it is for the elect. Basically everyone deserves hell but God in his grace chose some not to go to hell. Why would Paul Washer ask people to come to Christ knowing that God chooses people and it's all Gods work? This is contrary to limited atonement.

  • Thx you Jesus for this man telling your truth and I pray Father God that the eyes of your children are opened so that are saved

  • This really doesn't have much to do with the prosperity gospel, but it is a sweet video

  • paul washer speaks the truth, you dont have to cast out demons or heal the sick, even thou that yes a beliver has the authority to do so in christ, just like john the baptist preached repentance and didnt heal the sick ect, so does pual has an anionting to preach the Glorious gospel with conviction at the end is the saving of the souls that matters

  • good preaching sir. Its about time we preach the Bible and not man made schemes that is passed off for Gospel. But preach the whole Gospel, including healing the baptism of the Holy Spirit etc.

  • Rom 6:3 KJV) "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?"

(Rom 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death

JESUS NAME BAPTISM IS THE ONLY BAPTISM THE CHURCH BAPTIZES WITH, ITS UP TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL TO CHOOSE HIS OWN PATH, MY BIBLE HAS MANY EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE THAT CHOSE THEIR OWN PATHS TO DESTRUCTION, THE CHURCH WAS ESTABLISHED BY JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, NO 1 HAS AUTHORITY TO CHANGE THE WORD OF GOD. SALVATION IS A CHOICE

  • Does paul washer ,Preach the gospel=no, cast out devils=no, speak in tongues=no, lay hands on the sick and the sick recover=NO!!! But jesus said in Mark 16:17,18 that those are the signs that follow those who believe, ummm i guess paul washer is not a true believer, then he must be a FAKE!! jesus did warn us that in the last days, there were going to be alot of fakes.

  • @igldepo333 Do you do all these things?

  • @igldepo333 Well your wrong he preach's the truth.....i guess you dont know your bible well aye.GET BUSY

  • @igldepo333 You realize that there is no Mark 17 and 18 right, it has 16 chapters and in Chapter 16:17 the word for tongues that is translated into English is specifically used for a language, not random murmurings. Also, how do you know he doesn't heal the sick? How do you know he has not casted out demons? Also Jesus warned us against false prophets. What makes you so certain that Paul Washer is a false prophet?

  • @mariuspieter sorry my mistake matthew. how do i know? cause i'm listening to him and hes a southern babtist they think those things were left in the pass.

  • @igldepo333 , whoever you are, please search about the men he quotes often and speaks. Like Jonathan Edwards, John Weasley, George Whitefield... and so on. Now for instance, download the resolutions of Jonathan Edwards which he wrote while he was only 18 and study these men. We know that these men, did know God. After you read the resolutions of Edwards you'll probably understand that the Gospel that is being preached by Paul Washer, Timothy Conway, Steve Lawson, David Wilkerson .. is real one.

  • @igldepo333 not only does paul washer preach the gospel he straight reads it man!.... 2. devil(s) im pretty sure there is onle ONE devil. not everyone casts out demons in fact rarely.....

in response to all the rest of your comment... if all those things had to be done to be a true christian, not only would they be in the bible (which they arnt) there would be very FEW christians.... also jesus says you will know them by their fruit not by how they cast out demons etc

  • @igldepo333 so Paul contradicts Christ in 1 Corinthians 14:29-30, when Paul asks his rhetorical questions concerning the various gifts and the obvious answer to the questions is no?

  • @igldepo333 The Bible also says that in "that" day, people would say: "But we preached in your name; we cast out demons in your name; we healed the sick in yur name" and Jesus would say to them... "I do not know you!"

  • @igldepo333 john the baptist, didnt do any miracles, he only preached and baptised in water

  • wix.com/servantsofchrist7/truth

  • wix.com/sevantsofchrist7/truth

  • Thank you for the remembrance of these Words from CHRIST! So few say it!!!!! Receiving the deliverance of CHRIST cant be purchased. We have The HOLY SPIRIT, GOD within us given freely. Woe to those that have cheapened the Gospel. Placing GOD like unto man and four footed beast not fearing the ALMIGHTY FATHER. But I am thanking GOD that they are falling, those that present themselves as GOD. Babylon that great city is fallen! Thank you for presenting the truth.

  • I am poor by the worlds standards,so what I am blessed,my sons are all alive ;).I have a roof over my head&we have food..Prosperity pimping has torn our family apart,My Dad is continuosly bleeting we have the spirit of poverty blabla..watches Benny Hin etc...Has put my brothers of God its all about money, you see how can a believer be poor?Amen to this mans preaching ;)

  • amen

  • This is a blessing to hear the true gospel of Christ,,,this message can change your life..I am going to serve God all the rest of my life and i will worship him only the rest of my life.I will glorify God every single day of my life....I will not glorify man,but our creator and our Lord everyday..My eyes will not watch anythiing that does not give glory to God..Iam thirsty for the word of God,i want to hear the true gospel of salvation that is in the bible..

  • great preaching sir

  • 1 timothy 6 verse 10- for the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some covreted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows- i will never debate that there are many man who have turned the gospel into a slot machine, but its just as worst to turn it into a burden, by trying to receive the blessers blessing by being so overly humble that will not accept his blessing, thats not humility thats holy pride...

  • AMEN!

  • is it God's will for man to be seated in Christ in heavenly places in rags while Christ who is our brother and Lord sits in soft rainment... i think not..... i believe Pastor Washer loves the Lord, but I do not believe it is Gods will for us to feeble insecure broke and discusted believers... I am the head and not the tail, the righteousness of God in Christ JESUS, i am not just a sinner saved by Christ, i am a new creature, an adopted son of the Living God... peace love....

  • @PRIMETHECHOSE Explain 1 Timothy chapter 6 then.

  • Still don't get why people are trying to make me feel as though I need to be poor and miserable. I have plenty and live life abundantly (John 10:10). I LOVE life and enjoy the good things of the world, not being carnal nor "unholy". I'm not a newly convert, I went to bible college, I study the Bible and listen to great, evangelical teachers who remind me how much my Father loves me and how precious I am in His sight. Not all Christians have the same view on things. That doesn't make me wrong...

  • @BeautifulNellychka Live life abundantly...you are taking that out of context by relating it to material blessings. Abundant life is referring to eternal life in heaven with Jesus. Man, I'm just sayin...Being a follower of Jesus is a difficult life. If being out of poverty is that important to you, that is simply idolatry, but what you are speaking of is far from the gospel.

  • @BeautifulNellychka You think its "ok" for Christians to not have the same views?? Acts 4:32 "And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul" that is EXACTLY how Christians should be!! True followers of Christ WILL be this way. If you are not, then there is something wrong, and you should get into prayer about it. Let God mold you to who HE wants you to be, not who you want to be. Let Him mold you to HIS word, not your own thinking!

  • @bethmb85 his word says be baptized in jesus name only

  • @ronhanish I would like to see the scripture that says that. I can give you a scripture that Jesus HIMSELF said. Matthew 28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". So give me the scripture that says you have to be baptized in Jesus' name only. I urge you not to hold to man's false teachings and useless traditions, search for yourself the truth, not the teachings of man.

  • @bethmb85 (Rom 6:3 KJV) "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?"

(Rom 6:4 "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

(Rom 6:5 "For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:"

BAPTIZED INTO JESUS CHRIST, UR NOT PLANTED

  • @ronhanish Are you serious? This scripture is talking about the life we live, that we are baptized unto the death of Jesus, saying we are to die so that Christ can be risen. That is like carrying our cross everyday. Dieing to self. We are also to love each other and not fight back and forth, using arguing language. Why do you yell so much? Are you mad? Peter, Phillip, Paul did not say to baptize in Jesus name only as you stated. Show me the scripture that says that please.

  • @bethmb85 eph 4:5 by paul

    acts 2:38 by peter

    acts 8:16 by phillip

    acts 1044-48 by peter

    acts 19:1-6 by paul

    romans 6:3-5 by paul

    john3:3-7 by jesus

  • @ronhanish Eph 4:5 is talking about the baptism of the Holy Ghost, not what is said during a water baptism. I think people make water baptism's out to be more than what it is. I do not think that God is really worried about whether or not the person baptizing says "in the name of Jesus" or "In the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost". God is not worried about traditions is He? No, I do not believe so.

  • @bethmb85 peter stated in acts 2:38 ,that jesus name baptism remitts sin, paul states it washes away sins , if u think God will honor the other baptism you r mistaken, all new test church believers were baptized in jesus name . thousands ,,, not 1 person was baptized by ma28:19, 0 , the name remitts the sins , not the titles of God.

  • @ronhanish ,,, not 1 person was baptized by ma28:19, 0 , the name remitts the sins , not the titles of God.

rev 17 is the judgement of God on the catholic institution, i would not want to follow anything they changed from the bible , God warns not to follow them , but to come out of them for salvation lest we partake of their judgements

  • @ronhanish I do not follow the catholic church. I was baptized in Jesus' Name. I am just saying, I do not think that God is speaking of actual "water" baptisms in these scriptures. Because we are all baptized unto Jesus, "into" Him for our salvation, there is a different kind of baptism talked about throughout most of the book of acts. When they were all baptized in Jesus' name, it wasn't water, but the baptism of the Holy Spirit they were baptized with.

  • @ronhanish When I first came to Christ, I was baptized in an apostolic church, which teaches a lot of what you talk about, which is why I thought you were that religion. Anyways, I cannot stress enough, that repentance is the only thing that cleans of sin. Jesus said in Matt how we are to baptize people. The water baptism does not cleans of sin, IF you go down confessing your sins, which it talks about that in Acts, then your sins that you confessed are forgiven, only because they were confessed

  • @bethmb85

(Acts 19:4 KJV) "Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus."

(Acts 19:5 KJV) "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."

Luke 24:47 KJV) "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."HIS NAME -JESUS remission is baptism

  • @ronhanish So, are you trying to say that when we are baptized, are sins are washed away and forgiven and we have no sin after that? Because if a water baptism in Jesus Name is the only thing that remits sin, we would have to be baptized everyday because we sin everyday, and if you say you do not sin you are a liar, as John says, because we all sin, everyday, if you are not loving your Father with all your heart, mind, and strength every min of everyday, you are sinning. Repentance remits sin.

  • @bethmb85 christian doctrine i have learned is 1 step at a time, a sign of love to God is obedience to His Word, read this scripture carefully, it will tell u why to do it, (Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins is the reason.

peter always baptized in Jesus name, and never in titles of God

  • @ronhanish Jesus Himself said to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

  • @bethmb85 (Psa 119:105 KJV) "NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

its the word that leads , jesus is the word ,and he wants to lead you closer to him, but only 1 step at a time.

(John 1:1 KJV) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

when we walk and do "according to thy word" we have security that God is leading and is in control

God knows the way and all he is asking us to do is trust and obey his word

  • @bethmb85 at the moment of baptism we are forgiven, but as we live and fail we must find repentance daily, (1 Cor 15:31 KJV) "I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily."

paul is speaking about repentance ,also at baptism we are fulfilling the command to be baptized

  • @ronhanish The only thing that remits sin, is the repentance of sin. The only way to be forgiven of sin, is to repent of it, not just think Jesus name, and your sins are forgiven. Like I said, Paul is not talking about a water baptism of Jesus' Name in this verse. Again, do not think that anything remits sin except the repentance of it, and asking for forgiveness from it. You should know this by the rest of your readings of the bible.

  • @ronhanish Because the only way to be baptized with the Holy Ghost is by Jesus Himself. Because Jesus died we can now be filled with His Spirit, The Holy Spirit. Romans is talking of the baptism of the Holy Ghost as well, "in" Jesus we are baptized. In John, Jesus is talking of the Spirit, being born again of the Holy Ghost, meaning the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Acts is talking of the same thing as well. Go back through all those for yourself and re-read them. I pray you will see.

  • @bethmb85 i understand jesus is the comfortor, jesus spirit is not only the father ,but his spirit is the holy ghost

  • @ronhanish The water baptism is an outward showing of your faith in Jesus Christ. When we get down and are baptized it is to show that we are now believers and followers of Christ. It does not in any way "wash" away sin. If you believe that you need to read about repentance in the bible. The "only" way to be washed of sin is by repentance to God in Jesus Name. I say everything with Jesus Name because whatsoever we ask in His name that shall He do. But forgiveness is by repentance

  • @bethmb85 PETER , PHILLIP, PAUL ARE NOT LIARS , THEY JUST KNOW JESUS BETTER THAN YOU

  • @bethmb85 (Acts 2:38 KJV) "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

(Acts 8:16 KJV) "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)"

(Acts 19:5 KJV) "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus."

  • @ronhanish I think that they make a clear statement on being baptized in Jesus' Name, because we are baptized unto Jesus, and the apostles had to keep reminding people over and over that we are baptized unto Jesus and not any man. People make such a big deal about whether or not "the right words" are used in a water baptism, and I really do not think God is talking specifically about water baptisms in these references. They were baptized with the Holy Ghost, In Jesus Name.

  • @BeautifulNellychka

Washer is not telling Christians they should be poor, but not be poor after giving to those propsperity preachers who promise you all good and great things if you will sow those $1,000 dollar seeds to their ministry. Benny Hinn owns a big jet, three or four big nice homes. He only stays at the most luxurious hotels costing up to $2,500 0r more a night. GOD supply all our needs according to His riches in glory if we seek the kingdom of God first.

  • Luke 6:38: "Give, and it will be given to you. A GOOD MEASURE, PRESSED DOWN, SHAKEN TOGETHER AND RUNNING OVER, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

  • Don't get why so many people spend so much time trying to convince the masses that Christ doesn't want you to be wealthy. If you're happy being poor, GREAT! The prosperity Gospel also works for many people, and I can imagine they enjoy it, too You enjoy poverty, good!

I don't. How could I possibly bless when I don't have anything to bless with?

Soulwarrior77: "Do you think Jesus also meant for us to be hungry, to weep and be hated?

  • WHAT? :)) This is funny. Jesus turned the water into wine = sorrow into joy. Moses turned the water into blood...

  • I just cannot describe how much this man stirs up my spirit, in the negative meaning of the saying. Saved = SOZO, which means To save, HEAL, preserve, keep safe and sound, rescue from danger and destruction, DELIVER. Sozo saves from physical death by healing, and spirtual death by forgiving sin AND ITS EFFECTS (sickness, poverty, depression etc.). Now tell me, doesn't Christ mean for us to be wealthy???

  • @BeautifulNellychka your wrong, was christ wealthy on earth?

  • @BeautifulNellychka Jesus says in Matt 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Luke 6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

  • @BeautifulNellychka YOU ARE RIGHT, BUT THIS TAKES REVELATION. 2Co 8:9 for ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that because of you he became poor--being rich, that ye by that poverty may become rich. BTW - Jesus was rich, remember that some people gave Him gold, loads of it. And he also had a house, just in case you did not know that.

  • @BeautifulNellychka I don't think that it is your spirit that gets stirred up, but more so your flesh. The word that he speaks is the truth of God.Study to show thyself approved unto God. Seek and ye shall find. You are sadly mistaken. The scripture is there for you to know what Christ means...man has screwed with it and brainwashed the sheeple. Pray that Christ shows you the way, the truth, and the light. Ask Christ to show you Him.

  • truthinjustice . ning . com / forum / topics / dna- proves - that -all - jews - are ? xg _ source = activity this proves that all European Jews come from the middle East they are not Khazars. in 63 AD the Romans invaded Jerusalem and brought back Jewish slaves and the Jews intermingled and as people intermingled the Jews traveled throughout Europe.

  • @dickjohnson696969 thats was a website I couldnt fully type it in so you must h t t p it in the begining look it up

  • The Jews that are in Europe have the same DNA as middle eastern

  • Google Pastor Cymbala abuse to see his 3.8 million dollar home

  • The prosperity promised to the people in the nation of Israel was a type for true believers of the forever prosperity we have in the new heaven and earth. Prosperity here is not wrong if God gives it to us to use to help the poor and further the gospel giving glory to God. But few can handle wealth on this earth. If you can't manage your emotions you will never manage your money. If you do not trust God to provide all you need tomorrow, you can not give it all away today, you lust for it.

  • 3 John1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. Seeek the kingdom first!!!!!!!!!! God will supply your needs! it's alll about Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!! not about goods! but about he who is in me! Thank you Father!

  • listen. christians CAN judge solid teaching from false teaching. We are told to spiritually discern what's wrong from what's right. This can be done without condemning or judging the teacher.

  • Try reading Deuteronomy 28 God says if you follow and DO what he says you will be blessed in everything your put your hand too, if you are not following what he says and not doing what he says, you will not be blessed in everything you do.

The blessings of God in every part of your life both physical and spiritual. That includes money. Religion tells you God doesnt want this for you, God word says God does want this for you, so do you follow God or religion?

  • @keblack2009 it is not gossip if it is true. Repent and Believe

  • @d566159 - if you are talking against a brother or anyone for that matter, you are not walking in the love of God and it will take you from any blessing of God.

Deuteronomy 19:18 The judges are to investigate carefully. If they find that the witness is lying and has given false testimony against his brother,

You can try to justify it all you want, the word of God says don't do it.

  • @keblack2009 ok

  • @d566159 - keep in mind that when someone is to judge, they are appointed to judge others... and if they are not following the laws.. They are held responsible for this. Look at the number of judges who have been removed from the bench for not following the laws... do you not think God would hold someone responsible for not following his laws if they judge others?

  • @keblack2009 That is in Romans 2. But I still know that false teachers like Joel Osteen should be exposed. If he is preaching anythin he should be preaching mans depravity and ruin in sin to the world. And he should only tell the promises of God to the Saints. Instead he is patting all these lost people on their backs all the way to hell.

  • @d566159 Deuteronomy 28 says if you follow and DO what God says he will bless you in everything, and if you don't, God will not bless you. Ill put it in simple terms... if you do what God says, you will see blessings... if you dont do what God says, you will see curses... this is what Osteen says in what I have seen... although he is a gentile, I watched what he said and it is what God told his people.

  • @d566159 - Now what washer says about osteen shows me he isnt hearing or following what God says.

Jesus said No one can come to me unless the Father -- the One who sent me -- draws him. And I will raise him up on the Last Day. (John 6:44) washer says osteen isnt from God, so that is his opinion, and isnt from God. its his personal hate for osteen.

  • @d566159 - Leviticus 26:17 I will set my face against you - your enemies will defeat you, those who hate you will hound you, and you will flee when no one is pursuing you.

I have seen a number of videos of washer attacking Osteen, but not one of Osteen attacking anyone. Based off this, Osteen is following what God said, and washer is not. Psalm 106:39 Thus they were defiled by their deeds; they prostituted themselves by their actions,

  • @keblack2009 You can't apply to Osteen the covenat that God only made with the Jews. Isaiah 65 says even our righteous deeds are as filthy rags. That is why Christ came so when we come under Him by faith we get His credit. And we get eternal life. That should be all we strive after. All this prosperity and striving after the things of the world is idolatry.

  • @d566159 - That is the only covenant in scripture. Jesus made the covenant complete, made it whole so man could come to God spiritually. So YES I can say what Osteen said is the same covenant. Only religion says it is a different covenant. Paul says in Romans 11: 17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you - a wild olive - were grafted in among them and have become equal sharers in the rich root of the olive tree,

  • @d566159 - If you follow Jesus, then you are now part of the same covenant that my people are under. But if you choose not to accept the blessing of the covenant of God, that is your choice. Im not sure able the God you follow, but my God is not a poor God... And I am child of God. and its my Gods good pleasure to bless me. But then I know what my God talk me. Osteen is only touching the very surface of what God has said.

  • @keblack2009 If anyone is under Christ it is the new covenant. It appears to me that your eyes and ears have been closed and your heart is hardend to the truth. You really have no understanding of the scriptures no matter how much Hebrew you know. This will be my last response to any of you comments. I hope that God will open your eyes. Repent and Believe. That's all that's required.

  • @d566159 - show me where God made this *new* covenant with anyone. the only two covenants God made in the bible were with Abraham and Noah. a covenant would have to be made between two individuals and there would be an agreement between the two. The term *New Covenant* is a mis-understanding of religion. It does not come from scripture. What it says is made the covenant new, meaning Jesus completed what God started when Adam sinned.
