The most awesome scene from the movie (okay one of them). Timothy & Anthony are two of my favorite actors and this scene between them is a masterpiece. (Plus did you look at Timothy's jawline? Gorgeous!)
One of the few movies involving Richard the Lionheart to speak of his homosexuality, and yet there is something still integral and vulnerable and human in the translation.
The dramatic tension in this scene is so impressive- and given the time it was filmed it was very controversial. But the actors fortunes haven't always been equal- how many Oscars does AH have?
He has been nominated three other times, for playing Butler James Stevens in Remains of the Day, Richard M. Nixon in Oliver Stone's Nixon (Best Lead Actor both times), and Massachusetts congressman and ex-president John Quincy Adams (Best supporting) in Amistad.
Oh, I love this scene. I'm so glad someone put it up, I really wanted to show my friend this scene from the movie after she saw the play in our high-school. :D
Wooow isn't he sooo young :o they are the gods of british films those 2 ;-)

Two important debuts: Tim Dalton as 17 year old King Philip II of France, and Anthony Hopkins as Richard I.
