Yeah, I didn['t have money for much of anything back then. A buddy of mine who played trumpet did take his dad's high-end reel-to-reel tape recorder apart, screwed around with the recording head, and that let us do primitive overdubs. My friend's dad was really pissed.

Nice! Ju guys put alot o'work into that. Faking a musical instrument part is incredibly difficult and you guys did a great job. There is nothing wrong with paying tribute to a great recording with a little acting. Take note that playing like that does not make one tired but rather invigorates the spirit.
