every time i buy a new set of tires for my 86 b2000 i wonder if they will outlast the truck but so far it just keeps chugging (and i do mean chugging) along.
@LGLG69 I totally agree. It was the best looking mini truck from 1986 to 1993 hands down. I own a 1989 B2200 SE-5 and i still drive it to this day. I bought it new.
@TheLizardKing1967 I see quite a few of them still on the road today. You're right about the 86-93 model being "the best looking mini truck". The earlier model wasn't as nicely styled, and the model that came after wasn't either.
No, the B2000 and B2200 ('86-'93) had Mazda engines and chassis, while the B2600 used the same body (with some differences) as the B2000/2200, but with a Mitsubishi sourced engine.
The B2300, B2500, B3000, and B4000 were all rebadged ford rangers.
In parts of Europe and Austrailia, Ford sold a rebadged Mazda sourced B2200 as a Ford Courier, so it's interesting to note that Ford used to sell a Mazda truck, and now Mazda sells a Ford truck.

I had a '91 B2200, and it was a great little truck. I always liked the Mazda B2200 styling better than the Hardbody or the Toyota truck.
