no Pyrozombi is right. Parkour can be as simple as running from one house to another. Parkour is literally moving from one location to another as fast and efficiently as possible. All the "vaults" and techniques were later developed to overcome obstacles. Free running is any kind of "jazzed up" version of parkour because free running's philosophy is different for it is based on creativity, a free flow of movement, and yes, looks and pizaz. Parkour is also competition free, unlike free running.
