  • what

  • Epic fail.

  • Please stop thinking so negative you dumb clucks!

  • the people need to protest and demand Monetary Refrom! Back to the real stuff.

  • You don't know what your talking about.

  • Well Comrade, I know committed Commies when I see em, and you and the current malignant iteration of the Democrat Party are it.

By the way, nice "Trotsky" wallpaper on your site!!!

  • I watched a couple of your videos and you complain about "socialism" but yet you haven't mentioned what an ABSOLUTE failure the repubs have been during the last two NIGHTMARE-ISH terms that the texas idiot has served! I'd rather live under a so-called "socialist" rule than a neo-con debt hog! We will see what happens in the next 200 or so days.

  • You're illogical. The mess we're in is due to the current President. He's been pushing funds to the auto comps and everyone else all along. Where have you been? Watching FOX NEWS? Any new president following Bush would be left to clean up his mess Dem or Rep. I sense bias coming from you not logic. Blame the greedy Reps for the mess we all now have to clean up. All the auto comps. owners are all Reps too. You're venting on the wrong guy. Hold responsible the right ones! Reps are the socialists.

  • Actually the federal reserve is really responsible for this mess along with the two party system, both parties have destroyed this country and it makes me sick.

  • by virtue of allowing for a clearing house for sub prime mortgages (until they could no longer sell them off because of the visible risk of nonperformance) have created the world-wide financial collapse we are currently "enjoying". Hitler and WWII stand alongside these facts and do not in any way dilute my accurate premise that FDR was without a doubt a Socialist. Read some unsanitized history and learn.

  • Why isnt your outrage regarding our economic disaster directed more towards presidents that are still alive and that have conducted wars that cost billions in wasteful spending? So much of YOUR MONEY has been shitted down the toilet and only God knows where it is. Lets pit our frustrations there and allow FDR to get some rest.

    Whudya say?

  • First, we must accept the fact that the financial disaster that is yet forming up before our eyes, by ANY measure of cost known, is already multiples larger than, and dwarfs any war cost we have ever born as a nation...ever. We may agree to disagree on FDR, though I appreciate your comments. I am watching in stunned amazement as we nationalize huge swaths of our economy without any seriously audible opposition, and I fear it greatly as it will now give the new Administration license for far more.

  • Feel free to say FDR was a socialist. But he is revered and beloved as our 2nd greatest president by many scholars who have read "unsanitized history". How can someone who you make sound so bad, be revered in this way by so many?

You seem like a knowledgeable and good man. However, your premise of using FDR as a socialist and then saying Obama is a socialist so he will hurt the country further is just simply flawed.

Much like Roosevelt, hope got Obama to the WHite house.

  • "How can someone who you make sound so bad, be revered in this way by so many?" By virtue of 70 years of teaching people against the facts as to whet really happened, firstly. There is copious evidence to show this tendency and preference for the tenets of Socialism, which run rampant through the Democrat Party as a deliberately installed core philosophy beginning in earnest with the F.D.Roosevelt Administration. Obama is simply the latest iteration of this debunked, tired and failed model.

  • Mr. Houser,

How many times was FDR elected? i think capitalism survives. Your claims are simple paranoia and i also sense that you like to see yourself write.

Maybe we should "unsocialize" public education, libraries, law enforcement, etc?

  • Decentralize Public Education, De-UNIONIZE all of it.

  • On hope, it is a curious thing that people will enthusiastically trust in the very same governmental malefactors who have created their misery, and by so doing, cede their wealth, their freedom, their property and whatever else they can barter in a vain attempt to staunch their "Pain". In short order, and to their dismay, they find they have bargained away their power of self-determination and freedom to some mendacious government entity for an illusory pact for security, economic and otherwise.

  • FDR to the socialist bent? He's hailed as the nation's second greatest president.

Maybe FDR had more important things goin on like that Hitler guy i read about.

  • FDR unquestionably brought us our first Socialist programs, many of which are killing our nation's finances like a cancer. Social Security is a constant threat for now and future financial catastrophe, and for a more High Profile current example, Fannie Mae, which

  • Maybe we should have continued to allow Republican presidents Herbert Hoover and Calvin Coolidge to run the country. Despite the steps they took in LEADING us to the depression.

FDR was only facing the dissolution of democracy, Hitler, and world domination from germany. get a life.

  • On this, there is no argument from me. Herbert Hoover took to destroying the economy with massive income tax increases, with top rates to 90%. This in conjunction with the already disastrous Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act that created the protectionist tariff wars that lead inexorably to the creation and deepening of the Great Depression. On that score, I have no trouble allowing for the blame of Republicans.

  • I make the point though that FDR, who refused to meet with Hoover after his election, took great relish in allowing for Government to get a controlling hand in places it Constitutionally does NOT belong,(i.e. Socialism), this is historical fact. As for the war, quite a bit of what came to be known as "War Socialism" was deftly employed by FDR well before and during the conflict. This part of his Presidency, as significant and important as it is, was less than 4 years of his 13 year "Reign".
