I'd rather be crazier still and play a round of Sins of a Solar Empire with you. My wave of interest in Rebellion hasn't crested yet.

Haven't done anything as crazy massive as this Gigantic game of GalCiv 2 though. I think my longest Sins game was like 30 hours, Random Huge Multi system 10 way FFA. After the first 5 hours or so my poor computer started playing the game at like 1/2 speed. But including econ frigates it was computing 2,000+ ships at one time. XD

@Zachariahmiester mind = blown. I have no clue how I don't notice this stuff during recording. Especially since the Voyager gag would have fit with the ship's role even more, plus I could make a nonstop stream of Voyager jokes.

At least with Starcraft 2 I had the game done within a week, but given my slower pacing here it really will be quite a while. Oh, well, at least it'll be something new, and hopefully epic when all is said and done.

You better not give up on this LP, I LOVE GalCiv II (I've seen all 3 LPs of it) and I <3 incredibly long 4x games.

You might regret not turning tech victory off, if it stretches long enough where that essentially times the game out. Though, if it hits that point, you'll probably feel it's a godsend.

@TehBrawlGuy Oh, don't worry, the fact that this is getting noticed at all is all the inspiration I need to produce, even though this is going to be my longest project, I suspect.

I hadn't considered that. The AIs are set low enough that I think I'll be able to have my fun with them before that happens, and if not, eh. It'll still be a long and hopefully entertaining game.
