Is that the only way to play ddr on the wii ... is that because it is the hottest party ? because im getting a wii but i want the matt the old version... the different color one and the one with out using the controlers, do you know if its possible?

You don't have to have the hand motions, you can turn them off

You can turn off hand motions, but this game is way to stinkin easy and you can't set any mods at all. I wish Nintendo would replicate DDR, like Sony does. (not a Sony fanboy, just sayin.)

Yes, you need to use your hands to control the remote while you are dancing. There's no a option for you to turn it on or off, it depends on which sign are showing in the song.

dang, you have to use your hands & feet. I can't imagine how hard it'll be if it was to be in HEAVY MODE.

this game is RIDICULOUSLY hard... even on easy =(

It's actually really fun if you take the time to learn it. It may mean having to go back to basic for a bit to get the basics but IMO it's worth it.

there is a way... under the song thing go options then goto hand masks or something and you can turn it off there ill make a video for you if you would like pm me and tell me thanks.
