  • What Street and what city

     was that?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but are those Silverliner IIs?

  • They sure are

  • Nyeheheh I normally couldn't tell the difference between IIs and IIIs but now I can. I think these have different horns too... they can't be AA-2s....

  • Budds and Louies both have AA-2's. The GE's have Leslie S-2L's.

  • i think the older silverliners look sharp. good video.

  • Its two horns sounds like the German siren. Wah-Wee-Wah-Wee...

  • You wouldn't if you had to ride them. Those yellow and orange seats are not as comfy as the Silverliner IV grey seats. As a reverse commuter on SEPTA, we get them at least once a week, often more. Most days, the one I take home has the same cars as the one I took to work that morning had, so if we have Budd (or St. Louis) Silverliners in the A.M., I know I'll have them again later.

  • Septa's Silverliner II's and III's dont have yellow and orange seats... they are red and yellow... a very aged red and yellow... and to me... it seems as if the Silverliner II and III have a more softer seat then the Silverliner IV.. welll now adays they do lol

  • I thought so, thanks.

  • What kind of horn is on that Budd Silverliner III?

  • Wabco AA-2

  • That's my favorite kind of horn :)

  • kind of a wierd sounding aa2. our njt arrow IIIs have them, and they make more of an "owl hoot" sound
