I hate Matt Ward. He has a boring voice and he's not very intuitive on his instrument. I hate to say it, but I just can't respect his music.

Zooey Deschanel on the other hand has a very unique and beautiful voice, an she herself is also unique and beautiful, both inside and out. She is the reason Matt Ward still has a career. She's also the reason Elf was worth watching, an the reason New Girl isn't the dumbest show on T.V. She literally exudes enthusiasm an charisma and makes them all better.

I'm not all that familiar with today's pop singers and such, but Zooey is refreshing to say the least. She has a voice and she actually SINGS. Most of the so called "artists" of today just screach either like they are severely constipated or are giving birth. Zooey has a talent and voice comparable to Debbie Harry.
