  • Liked the book a lot

  • When are you going to do the reveiw?

  • @Colan4ever I have filmed it - will be putting it online as soon as I can :-)

  • Ahh this is exactly what i've been looking for :)

I ordered this book after having seen the movie twice in two weeks, it was for me, one of the best movies i've actually seen in my life!

I got the book a week ago, only to find James Franco on the cover of it, which really got me frustrated because i too wanted the original cover... Did you notice they also renamed the book to "127 hours: between a rock and a hard place?" grrr. Anyways, i'm half way through and it's AMAZING. i'm subscribing :)

  • @xLilycakesx So happy you subscribed. :-) Make sure you check out my review of the book and you can join in with your thoughts :-)

  • I read the book a few months ago and finally watched the movie this morning. Where the moved was lacking is the book's introspective detail. So many elements in the movie are lost on the view without and grounding in Ralston's narrative. And I felt there was a major change you would not notice unless you read the book first.

  • That's on my list, It may take a while for me to read it though, I have about 2 or 3 books ahead of it......

  • I want one of those t-shirts maam :) and the book club idea is brilliant!

  • Something I've seen people do is actually read the book on YouTube, search 'Alex reads Twilight'. Only you can actually read a decent book and not take the mick out of it as you read. C:

I'm a crap reader, I may join you on this, can't this month as I'm way too busy, but I might try and pick up whatever you read next month! :D

  • @kayleighthorpe Thats great, I hope you do join in. xx

  • The fountain of life, has value only love ... no love lost ... turn into a flower, planted in a pot and a daily wet with tears of love ..

    With much love, Maria

  • Oh im reading that right now :)

  • @RobzFanpire Be sure to come back and give your thoughts.

  • A book a month is a fine pace. Hope you enjoy it! I'm reading "The Mezzanine" by Nicholson Baker right now. It's psychotically detailed...but done very lovingly...so, there's passion & humor infused into his minutely detailed observations...they're not just a mind-numbing diction of facts.

  • @ConalCochran Thanks

  • Great idea and cool presenter! Olly xo

  • @terihatcherfan Thanks Olly, x

  • I've never been into book reading either.. lol.. Nice shirt.. =)

  • nice t-shirt ;)

  • @treefiddy3 Thanks, someone very special to me gave it as a present. :-)

  • What a great idea. I should do that, got plenty more Cormac Mcarthy to read. I just have trouble getting down to it

  • @mrjimmyos Thanks, hopefully it will get me reading.

  • Like the jump cut from close up to mid. Also, are you more tanned??

  • @TheMellyMoose More tanned? Lol. Afraid not....I wish. Maybe it is my make up. When I get a bit more time going to start playing with editing more. :-)
