What was the point of the wave runner??? I thought he was gonna ride up the fall w/ the wave runner or something cool like that. it was still a cool trick but i think i liked his other ones more.
Why does it matter if they are a paid audience or not? (they are not)
The camera is one continuous shot, with no editting at all. What this is infact is a brillaint "houdini style" escape attempt - where the performer is trapped in an escape attempt and then gets out of it as if by magic.
No one quite knows how he did this one exactly, I find it amusing myself - but it certainly wasn't editted - you can tell from the video.

I think the idea was to present it like Death Saw, like an escape attempt gone wrong.
The wave runner (or Jet Skii) was just to make you think he wanted to escape in time.

Ever wondered what the steel box was for?
He used it to cushion his fall, why do u think his arms and legs are inside the box when he falls?
And he had that chopper ready. Great escape, though. David Copperfield -> Houdini II

Houdini influence ?

impossible the force of the falls would crush his bones and there is no way a chopper can get that close to the falls anyway

Its not green screen, for a start it is 3D; and green screen technology did not exist back then.
