Also, it highlights the WP7 style of left-right swiping, hinting that the complete menu is one swipe to the right. The space teases you, urging you to do a right-swipe, and it rewards you by giving you the menu. Simple Pavlovian psychology expertly realized, imho.

The animated tiles remind me of Clippy from Office 97. Every tile is trying to get your attention like a pack of Jack Russel Terriers. I don't see much to like about this interface.

Very simple and scaled down GUI. I really like it. Its a step forward when it comes to designing for smartphones. iOS is horribly static in its app-centristic setup. Android is a bit better. This seems like much better. Very intuitive and versatile! I am a bit surprised and impressed! (Android-user)

Oh..... today i feel like buying something EXPEEENSIVE....but beautiful and functional that will satisfy my gadget thirst for a while.... so i go get a mac gadget.
When i wake up feeling like buying a really usefull gadget that does the same but much less expensive, i will go buy a windows based thingie.
Besides.... the Windows based thing doesnt necesarily turn me into a religious fanatic like the other.

The animated tiles remind me of Clippy from Office 97. Every tile is trying to get your attention like a pack of Jack Russel Terriers. I don't see much to like about this interface.

Very simple and scaled down GUI. I really like it. Its a step forward when it comes to designing for smartphones. iOS is horribly static in its app-centristic setup. Android is a bit better. This seems like much better. Very intuitive and versatile! I am a bit surprised and impressed! (Android-user)

This looks okay, but HOW CAN MICROSOFT EVEN SERIOUSLY BELIEVE THIS WILL BE AN iPHONE KILLER? The OS looks chunky and awkward, and isn't responsive enough. He touts the customizability as if it's some type of revolutionary idea - once again - something Apple introduced, and Microsoft tries to take credit for.
By the way, IT'S VERY POOR DESIGN KARMA FOR WORDS TO BE SPLIT ACROSS MULTIPLE SCREENS.
Looks okay, but not an iPhone killer by any stretch.
