tell me not though bgae may have been in a class all by itself but in 03/04 i think a lot of people misjudged this game like it was just anotha jak and daxter, ratchet and clank, or sly cooper even though that isn't true. back then there were so many games out that had a similar style

This game looks like it would be one of those games you find in a giant metal basket at an electronic merchandise store with a bunch of other games that didn't become very popular and/or weren't very good. I can safely assure everyone that it is one of my all time favorite games. I can't even explain why. You just need to play it and understand how perfect it is.

@bowchickawow1 You are right, years ago (2004-2008) i saw the game so many times super cheap in swap meets, grocery stores, department stores, electronic stores.. back then i didn't know the game was important till i read about it last year, i never thought a 2.99, 4.99 or 9.99 game would be so good.. i might buy the game next year if i find it cheap.. i'm not a fan of platformers besides sonic the hedgehog games but i'd give it a try because it reminds me of Rayman and Haven call of the king.

There are games that are good and then there are some games thats just fantastic and will be remembered by generations of players. This game is one the fantastic games.

If you havent played it you really should. Everything comes together so perfect in this game. Whoever they had working as the lead game designer really knew what he/she was doing.

There are tons of games with great atmosphere, but the feel of them has been replicated, for better or for worse. Not Beyond Good and Evil - I truly haven't experienced something like this before or since.

The fact that this wasn't snapped by consumers by the million is a crying shame.

@rocketiria, Kinda, you can do a roll to get hidden faster or to jump over things and when your fighting you can do back flips to avoid damage and a bunch of other stuff :P
