to get a zangoose you must go to fallabor town then go south of it until you get to lannete's house. There should be a path behind her house. Go in it first there should be a patch of grass then a spot where you can plant berries go in the grassy patch and in a while a zangoose will show up but to do this you have to catch a seviper first

I agree with Flygon for your team, it'll be very handy and is always a good choice. As for the water type it may be tough to get but maybe a Milotic? It's very hard to get as you know but well worth it :D
