Aziz is an amazing guitarist, but just not right for The Stone Roses. His playing on "My Star" is absolutely fantastic. Fucking hell Ian is blazed here hahaha

No, that's not how Squire played it at all. Squire does a big hammeroff on the down part of the end of the riff. It's not difficult to do but apprently it's too much for Aziz. This whole performance is a bad in the extreme.

I think the guitar style of the least of the worries about this.
I love the roses & saw them "back in the day" but Ian brown always was dreadful live & John Squire always knew it.
