How about the Supertool? When you close it, it may not be so bad.. no tools on the outside to grab your hand. Obviously it's mostly square design wouldn't be good for extended use but perhaps it's more comfortable in a pinch.

Hi Colin. Have you tried a knife like this: .moraofsweden.se/index.php?cid­=263&id=&ssel=18&lng=2 ? Its awosme to have when making small sticks. I have one at home for pre fabricating sticks. Its nice to know i have dry firewood if i come to damp areas.

@werewolfofzion1 Yeah its an older version, Leatherman swapped them over a year or so ago I believe. I purchased mines 2 years ago.
