There are countries far older than the States and it is simple courtesy to show respect to foreign leaders. if I met the American President I would simply shake his hand, if I met a foreign royal I would dip my head which is something called etiquette and not even the good ol' USA is exempt. By the way, the last King of England was William the 3rd in 1689. Who was the US president then?? :)

these are common protocal used by all diplomats around the world. he would also address a king as 'your majesty.' it shows respect and good diplomacy. besides, it was really smart as shortly after that, he sold 60 billion worth of arms to the kingdom. the largest in history. president obama is a highly educated and elegant statesman. in the long run, that serves US interests the best. some americans still have cowboy arrogant mentality which is childish.

I don't enjoy Democrats or Republicans, all of them are liars and crooks. But Republicans just seem to be crookier. I wish I could vote independent and Libertarian, but I know they're never going to win.
