If I put the magnetometer close to an electric motor, is its accuracy going to be affected? I believe the motor will generate a magnetic field as well.
is the arduino code available anywhere? I just purchased this $150 compass after watching the youtube video, but am now lost as I can't find any workable code to make it work as easy as this makes it look! :/
I second that; I think that the part number and a link in the description would be nice. It's easy enough to find stuff on your website, but we're just lazy. :)
On another note, you should make these videos more often! It's nice to see how things work before buying them.

You should fix and add closed caption... I'm deaf here... I'm annoyed with this education video. Not fair for hearing impaired

do you have a sample arduino code? I think I can decode something from the library included, but I'd like to see how the pros do it.

Would the magnetic field due to the motors on a robot cause the sensor to yield incorrect values for direction?

Thanks! Very clear!

Disappointed, was hoping that it would explain how they work not how to use them as per the description.

You should put the product names in the description! Not a big deal but it'd be useful!
