  • its about Fallout wanderer in first Fallout. The last part says everything:

Now I'm in control - means you control Fallout character

Now I'm in the fall out - well DUH!

Once asleep but now I stand - f you think about it you never see main character in any other position than standing - unless you are dead

I still remember your sweet everything - well there were sweets in the vault, athere were almost none outside.

Light a roman candle and hold it in your hand - standing with Flame frower :D

    Trol

  • today is the end, today is the fourth of july :-D

  • I just saw Soundgarden on July 2nd... Cornell even said this song was about tripping balls on acid on an Indian Reserve, and has nothing to do with being an American Patriot at all...

    Happy 4th of July.. LOL

  • trolling at its best. you win the internets.

  • If it wasn't for my dad, I would of never known such good music from a young age. I'm really ashamed of my generation, the so called "rock" bands just does not know how to write decent lyrics. Sigh. Whatever. I felt like to rant a little. I love Soundgarden.

  • WTF Metallica leters°! thats horrible for a SG song!!!!!! fck .l. u

  • It could just be a great song in a very long list of great songs.

  • Sounds like what the inside of a Steel Mill looks like!

  • lost a good friend on the 4th of july,,,this helps thanks Ken!love ya

  • Thanks for this. Nice to have this to look at when I listen to one of my favorite songs.

  • Its about an Acid trip Cornell had lol.

  • i also heard about this song being a reference to LSD but i also feel a strong description of the end of times.

  • this song is about the doomy, gloomy feeling of being rejected by someone you love...at least that's what it means to me lol

  • @Aliceinchainhead no actually its about the war Cornell thought was gunna happen. With all the nukes notice he says " now im in the fallout". Trust me bro i thought it was about tripping on LSD, then the cold war. But i bought the Superunknown tab book and it said about it.

  • How'd you get the Metallica Font??

  • one the songs that actually got me to start practicing singing..Cornell is so BADASS

  • oh wow that is cool

  • This is DEFINITELY NOT what I'd call a "patriotic" song... not to any 'existing' country, anyway......

  • what does this song have to do the fourth of July. Soundgarden rules

  • FUKIN' AWESOME!

  • you're either saying that just to piss people off or you're an idiot or you're a 13 year old girl

  • Or it could be their opinion?

  • its for acid trip this song

  • chris cornel es un genio nada que ver con kurt cobain y demás imitadores

  • si es cierto esa cancion ni habla del 4 de julio como tal, asi q ni al caso esas imagenes

  • Sorry but this song isn't really about the holiday forth of july...Its describing Nuclear War as the forth of July the song is about Nuclear War like the feeling of end of the world...Watch the terminator lol!

  • well duh it would be a bad song then

  • @ghaddiction

    no, no it wouldn't.

  • This song is about tripping on tripping on LSD. It was even written by Cornell while he was tripping.

  • no its not?? its about nuclear holocaust!

  • Lol. Ever heard of metaphors? He is describing his trip in it's peak and in it's fall-out.

  • @Aliceinchainhead actually chris cornell said in an interview he wrote this song about a bad acid trip he had

  • @Aliceinchainhead It's open for interpretation of course, but Soundgarden themselves said these lyrics were about tripping on LSD.

  • @Aliceinchainhead hahah in toronto cornell said he wrote the song after dropping acid and wandering into an indian reservation. the indians were blowing off fire works and he thought the world was ending.

  • ...and I heard it in the wind, and I saw it in the sky...

  • Maybe you could reload this, it's not playing.

Also balance the fireworks footage with menacing american controversy

  • Very fitting.

  • Appropriate time to post this, dude!
