I had septoplasty/concha bullosa/inferior turbinate reduction done 1.5 years ago. Recently, I have to go to see doctors due to a recurring nasal congestion/trouble sleeping, especially my right nostril. The doctors are telling me that my septum is deviated to the right! However, prior to the surgery, my septum was deviated to the left. Plus, I have been having a weird sensation on my right nostril. Is this all normal or the surgery itself was an unsuccessful one? Thanks.
Remember to see an allergist before attempting turbinate surgery. Those with nasal or sinus issues are recommended to try neilmed sinurinse for at least 3 months before an considering an operation. A complication called EMPTY NOSE SYNDROME MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF SURGERY!!
