So the oscillating noise is not compressor surge? I've always heard people say that when it makes that nice noise, the compressor is surging which is bad as the air is moving back and forth and putting pressure on the compressor's blades.

@allantotti Thats correct. It happens when the BOV has been deleted/blocked, under throttle the compressed air rushes through the piping & cooler into the throttle body, when you back of the throttle the throttle body slams shut and you're left with boost in between the turbo and the throttle body which eventually escapes back thru the intake after putting stress on the bearings for a second or two. A good turbo usually won't get affected by this over a short term period though

@michaelm8890 dude i got a xr6 turbo and a nissan cefiro! the xr6 spanks any jap crap i no 1st hand! my ceffy got nearly 300 at the wheels and the xr6t got just ova 300 so not much in power differnce! the weight diff should make up 4 it but the 4ltr turbo base engine is the ideal turbo setup, my xr6t smashes my ceffy in a straight line around a track and sliden if u want a "fast car" get one! a simple tune will get u the same power u will get with a hand full of mods on any jap car!

Why isn't these cars exported to the UK and other country's with RHD? That is so unfair!

On the launch of the BA falcon, they didn't have much budget and had to create a new model, namely the BA Falcon because the AU Falcon didn't do so well and almost caused Ford Australia to go bankrupt.

At the launch, it is said that the BA Falcon had a larger engine displacement than the Skyline.

Now 9 years later, why isn't there any export?

@SickEB You can order a special flap that you weld onto your exhaust tip, and the exhaust gases on deceleration causes the flap to 'flutter'.
