Momma was right. Barack lost Indiana by less than 1% - this showed that people were not as concerned with 'God-damn America' as the media is. It confuses me that people are worried that people will not vote for him when people. are. voting. for. him. The facts are right there, folks.
I voted for Dennis Kucinich, so don't tell me I'm a Clinton lover, but we all have to admit that Hillary Clinton was attacked, smeared and ridiculed from day one. The media, pundits and political hacks were all unfair & bias in the way they treated Hillary. They attacked her for the clothes she was wearing, the places she went to and they attacked her for being first lady. After all that she has been through, she is still fighting and winning states! I admire that in a person and so should you!!
Okay, 96% of African Americans voted for Barack Obama, and you somehow use that as "proof" to conclude that most, if not all, of them voted for him simply because they identify with his race- that he is too? Not because they think he's a better candidate for the job? Not because of some other confounding reason to your "proof"? In other words, your conclusion likely does NOT follow from the evidence. One would need a breakdown of that vote, for why they voted as they did, to make that conclusion.
Yes, you are saying something that isn't known, dunderhead. No poll, no piece of evidence has ever shown that every black person who has voted for Obama voted for him in part, let alone "solely" on the basis of his race.
Face what? Most blacks live in a racist country, that enslaved them and destroyed their culture, filled with people like you who think they now owe you something. Something more than what their country took from them. No one calls any other voting group racist for voting for candidates who come from their own community in higher numbers. Except when it comes to blacks. Good luck getting over your fear and distrust of them.
So let me get this straight. According to Carole Simpson, I, a white person, will not vote for Barack Obama. And second, Barack Obama is black and because of this he should not run for President because I might not vote for him. And third, I should vote for Hillary because she is white and not black, like Barack Obama. Wow! Talk about keeping a brother down, Ms. Simpson. That is the height of twisted reasoning and racism.
An increadibly idiotic statement. The "Bradley effect" is about people saying they will vote for a Black man, then not doing so. If they already voted for a Black man in the primary, you then have to figure out why they would not do the same in the general. Events may overtake him; but if Whites already voted for him in the primary (over one or more White people), race alone would not explain why they would chang behavior in the general. So overall, a dumb statement.
If Americans won't vote for an intelligent, gifted politician like Obama because of his race, then Americans deserve to be ruled by Idiot Kings like Bush.
Racism is a sin, and shame of Bush, Rove, Clinton and others for promoting it.
Oh yes, by all means. Let's live in fear of Obama NOT being elected--let's not nominate him then. What?!? Get real--of course those who voted for him will vote for him again! I'm rolling my eyes at this woman's entirely false premise.

a thread is, and the significance of a

embarrassed himself on right wing radio for many of the same reasons. And guess what,
the both work for Hillary.

No, she's just one of the four percent of Blacks who don't blindly vote for Obama based on the color of his skin.

"(B)lindly"... Nice.
So 96% of American blacks are incapable of making a decision on the basis of something other than race. Nice display of racism right there.

Hey, the proof's in the statistics. I'm not stating anything that not already known.

So, tell me, why monolithic bloc among blacks? Obama and Hillary don't differ that much on policy. Face it, most blacks are racist.

That's a pretty bold assertion. It almost seems like saying that evangelicals blindly voted for Bush, two times in a row. Or maybe you're right...
osporilla 3 years ago
Oh, I don't know. Jimmy Carter was an evangelical, wasn't he? I don't think his supporters would have been too wild about Bush.
